My guess is that it is from Banana Mango High School, she mentioned about them singing Banana Mango High School, 12no34 and Purukawa Yes in her blog. Apparently Saemi, Rina got to sing some more songs with Shou and Ai at another event too.

I found this hard to understand, so apparently some songs are okay while others are not? Copyright is so confusing. Credit goes to char123 from SLF

"Love Show Night was produced by Shou-chan and the event consisted of singing and talkshow. Shou-chan and Ai-chan performed for the first 50 minutes or so by themselves before introducing the two guests for the night. The four of them then talked for a while (Samii is just so unpredicable in this kind of talkshow, it was pretty hilarious. For example, when she was asked by the host what does Shou-chan and Ai-chan mean to her? Samii answered "salmon", which everyone was like what? then she revealed that salmon is her favourite topping on sushi, which means she really likes Shou-chan and Ai-chan.) followed by singing around 15 songs including songs from Muscats (Spring Holiday, Chocolate, Honey Trap and Banana Mango High School), AKB48 (aitakutte), Morning Musume (love revolution 21) and Momoiro Clover (coconuts), etc. After the Momoiro song, Shou-chan joked about how it is getting harder and harder for them to emulate a group like Momoiro since they are so young (average age of Momoiro members are like 18 to 19) and energetic. Ai-chan then joked that she had to lip sync to keep up with the song, then Shou-chan joked and said to Ai-chan "you are not Sora!" (so Sora lip sync all the time? but Muscats never lip sync in any of their concerts though). However the thing I found most interesting was the fact that they could not perform Go Go Purukawa due to copyright issues (when Shou-chan announced that Rina-chan and Samii are going to be the special guest a few weeks back, I am sure most people expected to see Go Go Purukawa). From talking to a fan that actually went to the event, the explaination was that Go Go Purukawa was never a main feature song in a CD (it was the B-side song for Honey Trap) nor was it ever sold alone, so even the 3 Purukawa girls can't sing the song outside of Muscats (even the karaoke places don't have Go Go Purukawa due to licensing issues). It really was unfortunate since I am sure people wanted to see it."

Apparently Rin Sakuragi has formed a new group called P Cherry with Yura sakura, not sure who she is. Here is a video of them singing their original song sakura Circle.



So the question begs, who in Muscats would you like to see form a new idol group? Personally, I'd like to see Jessica Kizaki and Airi Kijima form an unit as they are my favorites.

So the question begs, who in Muscats would you like to see form a new idol group? Personally, I'd like to see Jessica Kizaki and Airi Kijima form an unit as they are my favorites.

It's good to see some Muscats have something to do outside their regular routines as gravure or AV idols.
But, I personally not into that kind (techno? am I right? ) of music.

I'll choose Rina (since she's my favorite  ), Yuria (I think the song she sang with Kobayashi P, included in Ebisu's graduation package, is good and easy-listening although I don't understand every single words), and Kijima Airi (well, don't know why but I like her somehow  ).

looks like a great unit to me, I think Yuria sings quite well from her appearance in the show.

Holy crab! That's a huge amount if converted to my country's currency and it's increased now to 45001 yen 
For the member, I'll choose the entire gang of EbiMasu to watch movie together  (I'm such a greedy person ) 
But if it has to be 1, I'll choose Rina of course. For how much I'm able to pay, for a college guy like me.... I'm not so sure  , maybe 10000-15000 yen, after I save money for some months. 

Aino Ettude is always fun to watch, especially when it has guest star like her.

To this day I still listen to Ebisu Muscats music from time to time. Even if this song didn't reach the top charts in Japan I liked it a lot. Do you guys agree?

It has Rin, Sora, Acky (only 1 or 2 episodes  ) and Yuma.

I remember watching Shimokita Glory Days some years ago. It was a great comedy and featured Yuma and Sola I want to watch Jyouou Virgin some day since it features some of the Muscats AND Mikie Hara

She sounds really good "live".  Then again, I think "Let It Go" is best sung in Japanese (some of the other dialects don't quite match up with the tune).  Hopefully there'll be an article in the future where she tops the Oricon charts.  Props to the Hatsune Miku cosplayer who ninja'd her way into the video at the song's end.

Yeah, that vid has been posted a handful of times.  In fact, I watched it yesterday for nostalgia.  It's still funny how the Muscats were "treated" on the show.  From being called old ladies by S/mileage (even though SDN48 had a slightly higher average age), how KONAN amped up the rivalry between her and her former group, and how Okamura did a lil' pervin'.

Going back and listening to the Muscats' singles made me realize how much I genuinely enjoyed their music.  I bypassed their music at first (only being a fan of the show) but I couldn't help but listen to the music when performances were included in the show. Too catchy.

I wish their music enjoyed more success on the Oricon, but at least the music exists for us to enjoy.
