In my opinion, a new Muscats program could work.
But, you would need to get it out of the hands of Hakuto Corp.
Hakuto saw the Muscats as just a marketing/cross-promotion exercise.
A new Muscats program should be a real variety program.
No more broadcasting it in the ‘grave-yard slot’ (midnight to 4:00am).
Get some real sponsors.
Do skits with sets, costumes, and employ some writers (don’t expect the girls
to improvise most of it!). Girls like Yuria and Kaho have real comedy talent; the producers should make the most of it.
And make the most of those girls who have musical talent (e.g. Yuma and Airi Nagasaku). Employ some musicians as a backing band.
Dump Ogi and Yahagi. Keep Okubo.
No more Kobayashi. Watching a chubby, middle-aged ‘suit’ is not my idea of a good time.
Keep the stuff that worked (e.g. Kawaii Koushien and Cider Queen).
Ditch the stuff that didn’t .
I hate to say this…but cut down on the number of Muscats.
Ten or twelve at most. No more putting girls on there just as set decoration.
Sorry…this turned into a bit of a rant.
If you think my ideas are crap, feel free to say so. I’m just putting them up here for discussion.
