Good guess, initial...but, sorry, that rack isn't Kodama's. No cigar, I'm afraid.

I was reading the series of interviews on Kijima Airi and when she was asked about how she feels about new Muscats, here is what she said

"us members talked about it through LINE and the majority of us have mixed feelings toward it"

which agrees with what Aino said before.

I hope they end up changing the name of the new group, it can be anything: Shinjuku apples, Ikebukuro melons, Akihabara bananas (which can be abbreviated as AKB) or anything. This way they keep the memory of Muscats intact and it is probably good for the new group as well, so they won't have to live in the shadow of the original Muscats.

Yeah, but you know how the entertainment business is about 'branding' and 'franchises'.
The audience is going to recognise "Ebisu Muscats" straight away...a TV network might think the Akihabara Bananas could get a  :? reaction from viewers

Although, I do like the sound of the 'Ikebukuro Melons'   Would have really suited Haruna Hana and Sayama Ai!

That's a great point.  It just wouldn't be the Muscats without the members that left a huge impression on their audience.  The Muscats were more than pretty faces that belonged to the gravure and AV industries.  They made memorable songs and showcased hidden talents that made them special.  Also, the one thing they possessed was star power.  Their fans already knew who they were before being an idol group.  You just won't get that same vibe by putting together a bunch of random females who look at least decent to the male eyes.  For that reason, the Ebisu Muscats name should stay associated with those who made the group and turned it into a 5-year "project" full of ups and downs.  The new group should be something else altogether in name and theme.  As far as names would be concerned, they could think of something other than "city + fruit".

For me, I would rather stay with it that way than changing the name. Yes, we wanted to keep the memory intact and stay intact with the old members...I agree with Tetsujin here. A name change will probably not sell to the fans.

On the other side, I think I agree with Kijima...although like I always say, I wanted her to stay more in the Muscats even in the Revamp project for quite long...but it will not happen. *sigh

Thank you, LOL. Lately I've been looking to some of her Juicy Honey photosets  and that helped me to realize she was the girl on the picture ;)

I love EVERYTHING about her :inlove: except maybe the fact she's really skinny, like Tufty already said, but mostly I love her voice and smile  :D

I agree with you. A new name for the group would be nice in my opinion. We'll have to wait and see...

On another note, I think I need to buy a new IPad   :w00t:

Looks like Yuma is now walking the path of Mihiro...she is now on Ken Watanabe's troupe.
I think you meant Shimura Ken, not Watanabe Ken.

It is officially announced that the new group will be called 'Ebisu ★ Muscats', where the ★ represents the idea that new stars will be born.

It is also announced that they will air a brand new show called 'Muscat night' starting Oct 7th.

On the other hand, I am kind of sad to see what is going on with original Muscats members Rina and Kaho.
