Personally I'd like to see the Dame Monomane segment making a comeback. That was hilarious. The Cider Queen would be good too.

I've been listening to TOKYO Sexy Night and I think it'is good. Not as catchy like Banana Mango Highschool was, but it's OK for a first song. I hope they release a "Mambo" song in the future.

I hope they bring back the 'improvise for Ogi-sama' segment (the Japanese title is 小奥 - which I can't find in any of the on-line kanji dictionaries. I suspect it's some kind of play on words thing. The voice-over girl calls it 'oboku' or 'ouku'; I can't quite catch it.) Anyway, I'm sure you know which segment I'm talking about.  IMO, Yuria owned that segment.

Here's on of my favourite 小奥 segments. BMS Vs the rest.  Sora crashes and burns - not surprise there, improvisation was just not her thing. The gorgeous Sayoko does sexy radio exercises. Rina looks and sounds completely baffled by Ogi's instructions - very cute.

The "Ouku" segment came from the real life Ooku/Ouku, a court for the shogun's women (mother, wife, concubines).

I don't think I've ever seen it explicitly stated what the criteria are.

My guess would would be some combination of character/personality, having a substantial AV career, and a general consensus that it's a good choice.

I suppose DMM, the production staff, and the girls would be the main players in that consensus.

Previous leaders were Sora Aoi, Yuma Asami, and Kishi Aino.

IMO, behind all the cutesy stuff, Sora is a tough cookie with real leadership skills (same with Aino).

Yuma always seemed a surprise choice for leader...too soft/nice. But, who knows, perhaps, in reality, she is just as tough as Sora.

Or, maybe, Yuma is more the 'soft power' type. Gets things done with a smile and a kind word.

It will be interesting to see who they pick.
