Now that I think about it, JAV stars making trips to the US indicates a photoshoot of some kind. But what worries me is that it's the kind of thing that can be tied to a retirement JAV. Rina Rukawa retired from S1 doing the exact same thing by going to Vegas where it was all recorded and have that be part of the final AV. I know Acky said she would like to stay in the JAV business for the foreseeable future, but maybe things have changed...We won't know for some time anyway but it would be the end of a golden era for me if Acky retires from the JAV business.

hint for the other two girls in case anyone is interested in guessing. I think it should be easy enough to guess.

H.R. the first kanji character of her last name is the Japanese word for star, the star you see in the sky. Cute and busty.

I.M. the first kanji character of her name sounds the same as one in Japanese even though the character itself is not one. Has good experience as MC in event.

Yume Kana is also in Vegas right now, so maybe a Maxing project with Acky and Kana.

Yes but that photoshoot wasn't specifically for their retirement AV's like it was for Rina. Some time had passed before they retired, Kaho only doing it this month.

In the end, two of the three rumored girls are officially part of the new group. Since the information is made official already, no point to keep it a secret anymore, the new members are:

Mikami Yua (M.Y.)

Ichikawa Masami (I.M.)

Just in case anyone is wondering, the third rumored girl was Hoshimi Rika.

The two new members will appear in today's show.

I am not exactly sure why they reveal the information before the show actually airs, which kind of take the surprise out of it. My guess is that they want to reveal the two new girls as early as possible to see if they can boost the sales of their concert tour? Apparently the ticket sale for local concerts on the upcoming tour are not doing too well, which does not come as a surprise since some of the places that they will be performing don't even show the Muscats on TV. Personally, I think it is way too early for them to go on tour since they haven't been around long enough to build a strong enough fan base yet. It took the original Muscats three years before they went on tour and even the original Muscats couldn't sell out a lot of the local venues, let along the new group. I would say based on the new group's first CD sales numbers that they are not at the same level as the original Muscats in terms of popularity. I wish the two new members and the group well though.

Like Yua, Masami Ichikawa had a great track record in her sleeve. The biggest of it was she is the Soft On Demand's PR Officer...

And as for Rika Hoshimi, she is a great one. She is a member of MGZ, or Million Girls Z, a girl group formed by Million with Ayaka Tomoda as the leader.

(side note, she almost like the twin sis of EbiMasu 4th Gen Alumnus Riri Kuribayashi)

Another side fact: Ichikawa and Mikami are 2 of the nominees for the Best Newcomer Award in this year's DMM Adult Awards.

I assume it would be. When Risa Kasumi announced her retirement, her time with Muscats came to a swift end as well.

Amongst all the JAV retirements happening lately (seriously, makes you wonder if something's happening behind the scenes), let's hope that Acky doesn't quit soon. Or Shou.
