Rin confirms her AV retirement date will be on April 2017. Another favourite leaving the industry, they're dwindling fast. Yet I think Acky will somehow last longest of all of Ebisu Muscat members past and present

Anri Okita will also be in Las Vegas at the start of next year for the AVN Award show ceremony, as she did last year with Minori, Hitomi Tanaka, Ruri Saijo etc.

Rin's retirement is some what imminent ever since Onedari SP when she took a hiatus after her last TV Appearance (I think that was the Sexy Pose Challenge or something). Remember that she has own set of problems during that time, therefore retirement was quitr imminent for her. Luckily, 2015-2016 was a redeeming year for her as she has long string of projects for both IdeaPocket and ATTACKERS. Rin had a great time, and I sure hope she will keep it as she transitions to retirement next year.

Speaking of next year, Rina Rukawa will have her FINAL live event on February in celebration of her birthday. Entitled "Starting Again - Rina Rukawa ~ Last Birthday," the said event was also a send-off from Sexy J in honor of Rukawa's dedication as one of the founding members.

Quite sad the the PuruKawa duo will say their goodbyes next year.

Again, good luck to their future careers and endeavours.

(SIDE NOTE: As Acky says, she WILL not retire because...well...she loves the AV community)

Today is Airi Kijima's Birthday! Even if her time with the Muscats was short I really liked her in the show. And she's beautiful and a great singer too! Happy birthday to her

Also today is Kana Momonogi's Birthday! She really shined during that "Cream puff russian roulette" segment. Happy Birthday to her too!

A bit late

(I'm always very busy in December) but yesterday was An's Birthday! She gets more and more lovely as the time passes. She was one of my favorite members back when the show started and to this day she still is

OG Muscats still in the AV business…

I can think of 4 others (apart from Acky):

Nishino released 7 DVDs in 2016, and has one coming out in January 2017.

Sayama Ai released just 4 DVDs in 2016, and has one coming out in January 2017.

Haruna Hana 5 DVDs in 2016, and has one coming out in January 2017.

Satomi Yuria released only 3 DVDs in 2016, and doesn't seem to have a release scheduled for January. Has she retired?

There might be others.

Who will be the last one to hang up their lingerie?

Acky probably…but I wouldn't underestimate Nishino.

I think Nishino just loves to work. She probably got the most diversified career of any OG Muscat.

AV, V-cinema, foreign mainstream films (e.g. Thailand and Singapore), DJing, TV commercials (Thailand), and I've seen her in a music video.

About AV Muscats, I think that Acky & Shou will be competing for the "Longer Run Queen" title. My favorite ship againts each other, awesome

Related to Shou-chan and her alternative projects. This year, she was part of an episodic indi-short film called "Seven Roses: BEAGLE".
In her episode, she interpreted a soldier of a Special Ops unit that attends to rescue hostages (her sister is one of them) taking by a radical group.

That's all I have about the film. It's great to see Shou-chan in this kind of works, kicking asses of course

Do not forget Jessie K. She skyrocketted when.she transfered to S1. Airi K. had a great year in 2016 while staying in ATTACKERS.

Great Pic. Perfect for Muscats' international expansion...if McCoy wants to consider about it... I MEAN, COME ON....Continue where the OG left when.they tried to dominate Asia (back then, it is both Sola and Sho are their lucky charms).

Yep, Anna Anjo is still putting out DVDs (mostly uncensored stuff).

So, about 8 OG Muscats are still in the AV business.

I'd guess about 50 or 60 of the 80 OG Muscats were in AV. So, more than 10% still in the business.

I'm kind of surprised. I wouldn't have thought it would be that much.

How could I forget about Jessie? She somehow manages to keep a low profile, and, at the same time, is a big AV star.
