I guess I should come out of my slumber for just a moment to comment on such a huge event.
Yuko getting #1 is surprising but if anyone could beat Acchan, it always seemed like she'd be the one to do it. I'm glad in a way, maybe this single will be a little refreshing as far as the line-up goes just a tiny bit. It's awesome, I love Yuko and she deserves it.
Also, I confess that I nearly smacked my monitor right off my desk when I saw Jurina not only beat Rena by less than 100 votes, but also knocked her out of the top 10. I love Jurina but this really pisses me off, to be honest. I ended up giving both of my votes to Rena, so it's like Jurina really kicked me in the nads. I'm not really mad about it after the initial shock. Jurina is awesome, tries her best like no other, and deserves her spot and success, but.... by a mere 86 votes. Wow. Still, Rena did freakin' GREAT and I'm so thrilled about that. You go girl!

The rest of the results seem pretty typical. The only surprise I see in here is that Moeno was way lower than I thought she might be. Sasshi seems to be stuck in her upper middle spot, which I guess is pretty good. I was also glad to see Masana doing well. She's awesome. Also happy to see Akane on the list. The rest are in line what with I expected. I'm sad to see the only RS's getting in are the (IMO) boring ones.
My only hope now is that Aki-P abides by these results and really makes Yuko the leader. I don't want to see her next to Acchan(as in totally equal footing, I know her role will still be big). No offense, but she won, Acchan didn't. She deserves to be in the front.
And like Barrie said, this really isn't too fair of an election. It's more of a "Who has the richest and craziest fans" contest than an election.
