Heh, last night's game was pretty much played out to the T in terms of fantasy football.  And speaking of getting fired, Chargers fans (and probably non-fans) get to finally say goodbye to Norv Turner and A.J. Smith.  I've got Bryce Brown starting in my NFL FF league although I don't expect him to put up 20 points against the Bucs in TB.  I'm still in a bit of a dilemma in who I should start at QB, Luck or Newton?  Luck gets the Titans at home while Newton takes on the Falcons on the road.  Luck put up an average game in TEN the last time he faced the Titans while Newton had a kick-ass performance in the loss at home when he last played the Falcons.

Bah!  Sub-par performances from my NFL FF team yesterday (except for Frank Gore and Roddy White).  Andrew Luck with less than 10 points while Cam Newton busted out against the Falcons?  Man, if I had to talk about my worst moment in FF history, it has to be starting Luck over Newton.  I'm most likely gonna lose after tonight's game (unless the Texans strictly hold the Patriots to just no more than 3 touchdowns and no FGs).  Despite that, I'm still gonna be in the championship bracket with a 9-5 record and I now have a clear idea of who I'm riding with at QB during the playoffs.  RB is still my weak point on the roster though.  Outside of Frank Gore, I haven't been able to find much of a steady RB2 (I pretty much round-robin'd every week) although Bryce Brown might be motivated to get more than 12 total yards even if Shady comes back from a concussion.

But how about those Arizona Cardinals?  I really thought the Seahawks were gonna score 70 points against them.  I'd hate to see who betted on the scoring line for that game.  Everybody pretty much got screwed (even if the line was +/- 15).  I'm definitely adding the Cardinals to my "Who you should definitely play your players against in Fantasy Football" along with the Raiders.  And speaking of scoring 50+ points, I'm guessing the Ravens could've used that output to beat their interstate rivals.  At least the G-Men pretty much took the Saints out of playoff contention with their 52 points.

I must admit that I was pissed off when they showed Obama's speech during the 1st quarter of last night's game.  They probably could've just gotten the feed and wait until half-time to show it.  I would've really liked to see that TD pass to Randy Moss from the snap of the ball.  Man did the 49ers dominate the Pats in the first half.  Unfortunately, either because of Justin Smith's injury or Vic Fangio's playcalling (come on, playing zone coverage?), the 49ers basically gave the 2nd half to the Pats save for the last few minutes.  That's something I don't want to see in the playoffs.  My dad and I always took the "Dynasty Rule" to heart and the 49ers almost lost in spite of it.

Minus Frank Gore's lackluster night (well it was beyond FUBAR for the 49ers as a whole), I still managed to win my NFL FF championship game.  I pretty much beat my opponent (who garnered 1st place after a 9-game win streak) in the waning seconds of both the Denver and Baltimore games (I felt like I willed Joe Flacco to take a sack in the red zone to set up a FG and Denver came up with a couple of sacks in the last minute of that game).  Before Frank Gore's 28 yards rushing (and near lost fumble), I still managed to beat him by about .70 points.  Now I can relax for the rest of the year and look forward to baseball season (World Baseball Classic in SF ... that's what's up!).

fuck. what a disappointing season.

You just need a proper front office. Throw it all on Coach Reid and Vick. COME ON. What's the alternative??? Offensive Line and lackluster recieving corps, DJax wasn't the same. Andy Reid's son died. NO EXCUSES but really, these are human beings but whatever Jeff Laurie does, hope he has the decency to know that there are guys like Vick, Avant, Trent Cole, who lay it all on the line for the Eagles. The defense has to get shaken up, Since Dawk left for Denver and Jim Johnson died, there hasn't been that FIRE! EDGE

Whatever. The Giants are out, WHO KNEW. I'm still gonna watch but shit it has fucked up my Fantasy SO BAD. LMFAO last place in all of em, left Vick starting. Does that mean RGIII might get a chance to win the NFC East! FUCK!! Come on Seahawks my Russell Wilson rookie card is banking on it!!

boys lose and the Skins advance.  Reid and Vick are both getting canned tomorrow.  If Vick stays, he'll be a backup.

I was a bit disappointed that Adrian Peterson fell short of the record by 9 yards but to have a 6.0 yds/carry average in 16 games is pretty awesome.  You would figure a smaller RB would get those numbers but AP has shown both speed and power.  He can get around defenders as well as put on the "hit stick".  Will AP ever get the record?  I don't think so.  In fact, I don't think he'll ever come close to 2,000 yards rushing in a season for the rest of his career.  There will be a day though when Dickerson's record will be broken.

Playoffs set

Texans vs. Bengals= rematch in the same stadium maybe different result Texans 30-17

Seahawks vs. Redskins= Rookie QB's battling against each other, tough matchup Skins 21-17

Colts vs. Ravens= Luck vs. Ravens' D and Pagano returning against an old team Colts 31-28

Vikings vs. Packers= rematch from week 17, possible same result?  Vikes 24-17

Kinda predictable but who knows right?

Yeah, it seems like every year that Romo has been the starting QB, he always blows it on the final game of the season.  If the Cowboys played well enough to not have to rely on the final game, they wouldn't have this problem.  Might as well get Romo to hold the ball for Dan Bailey (maybe some redemption could break the "Romo Curse").  It certainly is a "Black Monday" as 7 out of a possible 12 head coaches have already been canned.
