Wasn't really concerned about the game, although fair play to the Colts. Prince totally owned that half-time show, as I knew he would. JT can't even reach the bottom of Prince's high heels :P Surely the best half-time show you guys have seen?

Wow I cant believe Grossman. He would only start on 4 other teams in the league. The bears defense stepped up and kept the Bears in the game. Man the cappers were good on -7 Colts.

Anyone noticed that prince had an aura around him deflecting the rain.

I was surprised by how well the Colts' defence played, considering how during the rest of the season they were average, at best.

JPH!P 's kuro808, Fushigidane, ChrNo, Jab & marimari. Always.

Grossman totally sucked seriously. The MVP-like 4 weeks he had in the beginning of the season was a fluke.

Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are the worst commentators ever. They were soo boring.
Phil: "I don't think the rain will be a factor at today's game"
4 turnovers later.
Phil: "I guess it did factor a lil bit."

LOL FUCKING IDIOT. and no one cares about ur life story that you could still throw the football.

I like the pregame show about Brian Piccolo, Walter Payton and Hines Ward. So touching.

Bears fans booing Muhammad whenever he catches the ball?

Just to clear this up because I've been seeing it a lot today, Bears fans always say "Moose" when Muhammed catches it (it's his nickname). It just sounds like a boo.

Glad Manning and Harrison got a ring. They deserve it. I know the Edge (Edgerin James) stayed with the colts now. Don't feel to sorry for the Bears, i think they'll be back. The way Devin Hester broke the game open i though it was gonna be the Bears game. They didn't pressure Peyton Manning enough, they let him sit back, thats why they got picked apart. Game was crazy though, turnover after turnover.

Hell friggin yea COLTS!! Peyton’s finally above criticism. No more monkey on that back. My football senses tell me the colts win another 1-2 superbowls within the next 1-4 years. Maybe, who knows. Anyways the down to earth, classy Colts and Dungy deserve that ring, its about time.

A lot of people said this sb was boring, but I thought it was super fun to watch, especially with the slick weather, lots of slipin, and slidin. Waayy better then the Steelers vs Seahawks bowl imo. And the Prince show got me hooked.

Chokeman errr Grossman is who he is, an ok qb….people expected way to much from him especially going against a far superior AFC team.  Must be mad tough for him right now with all the media and criticism. But that’s the life of a QB. Oh and the chicago d got totally manhandled  by the colts o. props to Rhodes.

lovin' that purple rain.

i've got to actually completely disagree with you on that one...

i thot prince wasn't that great. it was pretty lackluster.  but that isn't a knock on prince, per se, but more on the whole super bowl halftime. i can't remember a good halftime in the past decade...

can someone tell me why rex grossman threw it to the MIDDLE of the field the last 5 minutes of the game? you're down by 2 scores, at LEAST. you need a TD!

i think lovie got outcoached and rex was crappy. why do you LOB footballs so high in the air? even *I* don't do that!! that's like football 101 of what not to do: lob the ball with the defender in front of your receiver....and how many times is he going to throw off that back foot?

PS, to anyone who says that rex had 20 completions, COUNT HOW MANY HE GOT in the last garbage time 3 minutes, when the colts just stopped defending! ridiculous. he only really had 10 completions. and he had THREE Turnovers.

to anyone who says the bears defense sucked: the bears defense, had to contend with their offense being on the field for like 2 minutes. every other minute was defense time.  even the BEST defense in the world will get tired if you had to play every friggin' minute.

in actuality, the dfense did pretty damn wel, until they gave up in the 4th because of GAME CHANGING Turnovers by grossman. their morale took a huge  hit because of those.

Lovie did get outcoached kinda because he stuck with the same gameplan. Dungy and his crew had to come up with a new one to win the game. Love thought the old gameplan would work...and it almost did. Rex sucked balls and threw those 2 floppers. Actually one of those could've been a TD but it didn't have enough juice.

I'm just really happy for Manning, Harrison, and Dungy. WOO HOO

SCREW MANNING!!!!

and Lovie and G-man is not the cause of their defeat(well maybe some)

Rivera the def. coordinator sucks ballz!!!!

he placed like 2 safety's like 10 yards away from the offense

so manning like threw short passes

and they dominated the game

i can't believe that the COLTS hold the ball for like 25 mins!!!!!and BEARS have it for like less than 5 mins!!!!

they should fire Rivera

and use Griese for god sakes!!!!(theyre wasting alot of money on him and putting him on 2nd string)

btw i thought the BEARS would win with Hester's 92 yard TD return

sad memories.....:ONfrustrated:

oh wel..... there's always next year

and there's no way that the COLTS will repeat!!!!

look wat happend to the Steelers, didn't even get into playoffs

NFL Pro Bowl is dumb especially when players get hurt. The contests they have are entertaining but thats about it.

I like how they replayed it a milion times and in JApanese.

@ koharu_fan023...that's how football is. like a chess match.

Have y'all been watching those NFL Super Bowl Documentaries "America's Game" ... truly, the teams of the early 80s, 70s were the best.

My favorites have been Raiders, Steelers, Bears...just smash mouth, who gives a fuck defense. None of the massive studying of plays --- dudes went to fuck and get drunk and knew the playbook by heart.

I can't believe this, that's so lame.  I don't think the chargers lost the finals due to bad coaching. Bad move. This seriously bums me out. :/

^Yea I'm shocked too. He didn't get along with the GM or someone. I thought they had the contract worked out and he was coming back for one more year. They better find someone quick.

Ugh, I live in San Diego and am a really big Charger fan. This really sucks. Losing both Cam Cameron and Wade Phillips is even a bigger deal than losing Marty considering they were the ones actually calling the plays. Getting another head coach shouldn't be too big of a deal. I thought it will be quite more difficult finding 2 new good coordinators.

Well, Norv Turner isn't exactly Cowhan or Parcells.

Sucks that nowadays coaches are just managers of coordinators....they're the big experts.

Fuckin Pacman jones. What a way to get a stripper's attention:

Quote
Jones was showering more than 40 strippers onstage early Monday with cash "intended as a visual effect," a search warrant said. But a scuffle broke out when the Houston promoter who hired the strippers told them to pick up the money.

Hope the eagles can pick up some better linebackers in the draft. Stop that run.

Pacman Jones played so well this season. Titans would be stupid not to keep him. Did he cause any trouble during the season? I bet he stays.

WACO, Texas (AP) -- The father of NFL MVP LaDainian Tomlinson was killed Friday when the pickup truck in which he was riding flipped on a highway.

Oliver Tomlinson was killed at about 1:30 p.m. in the one-vehicle rollover, said Charlie Morgan, a Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman. Tomlinson was 71.

The driver, Ronald C. McClain was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, where he later died, Morgan said. The 48-year-old McClain was Tomlinson's brother-in-law, authorities said.

The Department of Public Safety said that according to the accident report, McClain veered off the roadway and overcorrected, sending the car across the highway and into a ditch. The report does not mention a blown tire as initial accounts of the accident suggested. Both men were thrown from the truck, Morgan said.

Jewel Tomlinson, Oliver's wife and LaDainian's stepmother, said her husband and McClain had been returning to Waco after a trip to the family home in Tomlinson Hill, the Waco Tribune-Herald reported in its online edition Friday. She said Oliver, who lived in Chilton, had been staying in Waco recently while recovering from an illness.

LaDainian Tomlinson starred at Waco's University High School before going on to TCU and the San Diego Chargers.
