Yeah, Puyol dived, but I wanted Barca to go through. MIlan's team is getting so old, how in the world did they play a 39 year old (costacurta) in a Champions League semi-final really bugs me. And Barca was the better side, generally.

I actually think he's the most unorthodox of midfielders (I would hardly call him complete, he hardly tackled anyone since he was 25), but he is a magician capable of absolutely miraculous things. And congras to him for retiring as a legend and on his own terms (unlike people like Best or Gazza that stayed on way past their use-by dates).

I actually don't mind that (and I'm a Man Utd fan), for me, it's better if they spend ridiculous money/wages on 29/30 years than younger alternatives at 25/26. As good as Sheva is, his body is starting to reveal the wears and tears from all the battling in Europe for all these years (when was the last year that he didn't play European football?). And I really don't see how Lampard can co-exist with Ballack on the pitch at the same time (look at the combination of Gerrard and Lampard for England...it just doesn't work). And Ballack isn't the type to sit quietly on the bench (like the 24 million dolloar man, SWP).

If chelsea then spends 25 mil on Diarra and 20 Mil on Torres as suggested by some tabloids, I would be very happy (since it'll just be a waste of money with a lot of bench warmers with a 20 mil + dollar tag on their shoulders).

yeah they are spending like nobody's business. last year i thought they paid way too much for wright-phillips and del horno.

however i think ballack & lampard combo could be very deadly if they played with one striker up front and a holding def mid like makalele to back them up..

Well.....Chelsea sucks, i don't like the team. I hate Drogba since he was in Marseille.

Who do you think will win the Champion's league ? For real, i can't decide.
