I think it's going to be a really really close match, and Ronaldinho and Henry might just be the only players that might make or break it for their teams.

I'm a huge fan of Liverpool myself! *Gives High Five*

 Now about last night's match, all i can say it Arsenal lost with pride and Barcelona derserved to win it (i've not seen a lot of matches like that).

But that's from a neutral's point of view..what about you Arsenal fans out there? Any thoughts about the results?

He just pledged his future to the club. Arsenal won't be the same without him. Can you imagine what would happen to Liverpool if Gerrard left?

Italian football heavyweights Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina will all face a sports court over allegations of corruption in the game.

I don't think they'll be relegated to the lowest division. Just think of how damaging that would be to Italian football. I say they'll all get fines and a slap on the wrist.

If I'm not mistaken, a club has been relegated to Serie C last season. I forgot their name and reason though. But yeah, if they do get relegated it's gonna be really damaging to Italian football. Here's what i know:
AC Milan--> Serie B
Juventus--> Serie C

It's my understanding that some clubs has already "booked" some of the players from Juventus if they do get relegated. Might be wrong though.

Manchester United and Chelsea are locked in a £25million battle for the signature of World Cup sensation Fernando Torres.

Argh go away :evil: You've got Drogba, Crespo and Shevchenko, you don't need another striker to fill up your bench space. Still, I'm more comfortable by reading this:

Quote
Sources close to the player insist he would want assurances about his role at any club wishing to buy him.

Making those assurances may be a problem for Mourinho, given his track record of dumping big-money signings on the bench regardless of reputation.

And with United looking to rebuild their attack following Ferguson's decision to expel Van Nistelrooy, the Spaniard may feel his best option would be to move to Old Trafford.

Definitely not the most gentle judgement.

But I guess they deserved it. I wonder what fans would think about this.

In the most entertaining transfer news I've probably ever heard:

Leyton Orient are hoping to sign Ronaldo

The only thing is, is Ronaldo fit enough to play for them? :P

It's a crock of shit that the Italian FA have virtually reversed all of the decisions regarding the punishment of AC, Fiorentina, Lazio and Juve.

Only Juve have been really punished severly now - in Seria B - with a 17 points handicap start.

Milan only have an 8 point handicap start in Seria A, with Lazio 11 points handicap and Fiorentina 17 points handicap - and even more idiotic is that AC will be allowed (if UEFA agree) to play in the Champions League in the forthcoming season.

It's Stupid - they have been presumed and proven guilty - so why is the sentence so lenient? - I know it wasn't a positively direct way to fix matches but never the less they have cheated - and them being punished by the FA proves that the ruling officials also beleive that the clubs are guilty, so 8 points for max fixing?! it would be worth doing it every year for AC as they would gain more than 8 points by fixing some more matches. AC must be laughing their socks off.

Yeah, I thought that was bullshit. Punish one, punish all, imo.
