The groups for the World Cup have been defined!

GROUP A
South Africa
Mexico
Uruguay
France

GROUP B
Argentina
Nigeria
South Korea
Greece

GROUP C
England
USA
Algeria
Slovenia

GROUP D
Germany
Australia
Serbia
Ghana

GROUP E
Netherlands
Denmark
Japan
Cameroon

GROUP F
Italy
Paraguay
New Zealand
Slovakia

GROUP G
Brazil
North Korea
Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
Portugal

GROUP H
Spain
Switzerland
Honduras
Chile

This is... madness.

Group G is far and away the group of death. England have a rather easy group to contend with. Other than that, it's all good. Looking forward to the WC already.

Group A is somehow scary, too.

I'm sad for Chile, though. If logic works here, we should go to the second round as second in our group (after Spain) and then we would play with Group G's first, which should logically be... Brazil. :bleed eyes:

Well, miracles can happen

U.S. got shit lucky, Group G is the group of death, and I hoe France doesn't past the round robin

then this http://g.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/world-cup/news/blatter-says-irish-deserve-moral-compensation--fbintl,ap-wcup-ireland-blatter.html

ROBBEN ISLAND, South Africa (AP) -- FIFA president Sepp Blatter is considering a special award for Ireland after it lost out on a World Cup spot to France when a handball from Thierry Henry led to a decisive goal.

He ruled out financial compensation after it was announced that World Cup teams will receive at least $9 million for taking part in the competition.

Blatter said Thursday he would back Ireland receiving "moral compensation" for its elimination following the handball.

He said paying Ireland would lead to more teams seeking compensation.

Really WTF

Blatter has no shame. Though neither do the FAI for begging to be the 33rd team in the tournament. They'd command respect if they just accepted it now and moved on. Receiving some sort of moral compensation now is too little, too late and hugely embarrasing to the country.

At first, i was sad for the Ireland and how France got their qualification.
I was like WTF, France doesnt deserve their qualification. France sucks, Henry sucks BOOO
But now, i still think they doesnt deserve their place but Ireland should stop crying at the corner and stop asking to go to the WC because they should know that is impossible. ( How about the penalty for Evra ? And another one for Anelka i think ?)
People they it's Henry's fault, he is a cheater. I was thinking the same. But who should be blamed ? The referees of Henry ? I want to say the referee.
Henry should have say that he cheated ? How about Robbie Keanes and the penalty against Georgia ? He also didnt say anything even if he know there was no penalty
Ireland - Georgia RIDICULOUS Penalty
How about Maradona and Messi and the "Hand of God "?
I think if people wants to complain, they should complain against Platini  this man is an asshole, he should do something about all those referee's mistake

^ i'm sure many people think that they are helping France because of who Platini in the FIFA XD... but ok, the only option was to play again, didn't happen so let it go, right? the extra place theory was idiotic... but nothing like the moral compensation WTF means that
