I re-installed last week, and played a little bit. Evendim isn't quite as evil as before. I might actually be able to get my two characters out of there now! I completely forgot I had gotten Angmar during that huge discount, too

Finally got some non-combat pets for Caenith, my Loremaster. Hare, fox and cat, somewhat aptly named.

There's still sparrow, dog, frog, snake, squirrel and turtle to find and collect. At least the turtle should be easy to name...

I've been playing a lot with my new favourite alt, Mirlith; she's a hunter elf with black hair unlike Sulwing, but you can't really currently see it... Reputationwise I'm going for perfectionist with her the same as with Sulwing, but if she's several levels ahead of some quests that don't give rep, I'm not bothering with those.

It cost me 300tp to max the Eglain reputation because I had to reset tasks

Eglain is definitely a tough one because they have no reputation items and no repeatable quests aside from crafting ones, and since Mirlith only collects stuff she can't craft lol

And of course, I've been completing random things with Sulwing, like mail deliveries in the Shire and collecting all lost Bilbo's buttons in Goblin Town... I was hoping that the quest would end with Sulwing having to take the buttons to Bilbo, but I guess that was too much to ask. It would've been so cute. Like, "where did you find these?!"

Here is a random cute scene I bumped into unexpectedly... It's worth it to keep one's eyes open when travelling around Middle Earth

THE ANNIVERSARY FESTIVITIES ARE ON!!

The Shire and Bree-town are going crazy with fireworks! ^___^

This hobbit in a gift box was so funny looking, I couldn't help but giggle

That Nikkor had some ale thing that made it look she was levitating around randomly. I HAVE NO IDEA.

We had a spinning competition and then fainted at the end. It was fun!

I love the randomness that festivals bring about

Uh I'm soz but this looks a little racist to me o-o Did they really have to make these TERRIBLE men look so Asian inspired?

(I don't know how "evil" they are making the Easterlings as a whole, I'm speaking to one of their leaders next time I play and I guess we'll see)

I'M STILL PLAYING THIS GAME!!

An update on Mirlith! She is now level 42, I believe. She has two outfits: one for visiting fancy places (like Rivendell), and the other is her Hunter gear:

Sulwing is somewhere far, far away...

I wanted to try joining an active kinship, so I joined the reddit one on the Gladden server.
I created a female hobbit warden called Saribell ^o^ Like with Naurwyn, I play her semi-RP.

This is Saribell at Bag End - she'd heard of Bilbo Baggings many times before and wanted to meet him because she really loves stories about adventures and history, but too bad the only person to greet her at Bag End was the nagging Lobelia.

She joined the Bounders in the Shire and sometimes bumps into awkward situations -

...Saribell is from Buckland. And yes, she can swim, although she does not like getting wet.

Saribell spent two nights at the Great Smials... She was too tired to notice how uncomfortable the wooden benches were

An on-the-road bounder's life is hard, mang...

I WANT US ALL TO DO THE GREAT BARROW INSTANCES TOGETHER. THIS WEEKEND MAYBE?

"Generally speaking this place aims at characters in the levels 21 to 24 and above (as instances are adjustable) but some sections are intense and a good fellowship is recommended."

Instances:
[20] Great Barrow: The Maze
[22] Great Barrow: Thadúr
[24] Great Barrow: Sambrog

We'd set the instance level based on which level characters y'all have. My lowest one above 20 is level 28 and then the next lowest one is 42 or so

We can muster up 6 people to play at the same time, right?! People still have the game installed, right?? Post here or let me know in IRC if you're in...

And Elendilmir is still our server... :3
