New DVD release from SUPER GiRLS "Seitan 2 Shunen Kinen SP & iDOL Street Carnival 2012" releases on 2012.9.19.

Interestingly, it looks like only the blu-ray edition will be getting the bonuses this time. To be specific, a slipcover and bonus photo (different from the "support shop" photo) and a documentary DVD. Aside from the "My Idol! SUPER GiRLS" access card and the support shop photo, the DVD doesn't seem to have anything else.

I guess this will be my first JPop blu-ray.

Super Girls have an excellent promotion team. I don't really know much about them, but I do now. They are everywhere.

You can see the Super Girls truck blasting around Shibuya regularly:

Their single sold around 71K, so all the hardcore promotion definitely paid off.

Certain other idol groups can definitely learn from this.

The drama is called スプラウト / supurauto (Sprout) and is currently on the air (I have not seen it).

Ami falls a few names down on the cast list, so her character "Ami Uehara" must be a student at the high school where the lead characters attend.

But good job Ami, nice start to drama career!!
