^yeah, Yesasia might be the exception, since they also got the Love Wars posters and such. Their sales count towards oricon too, so I guess they made some sort of deal with someone.

And sadly, as far as I know you can only buy the Theater version cd with photo at the actual theater, and maybe at some of their events. That's why the photos go for so much money, because they're hard to get.

Problem is... she doesn't really have the right skirt!!

I don't have alot of the neccisary things, but could roughly base it on a mix of the pv costume and the lives!

^ The concerts were never released on DVD or anything like that; just a 1.5hour TV broadcast that only covered bits and pieces of the concerts. The user who uploaded those videos on Youtube has more clips though.

Oricon has just announced the official weekly sales numbers for AKB48's latest single "Beginner." In its first week, the single sold approximately 827,000 copies, becoming their fifth consecutive number-one.
That total sets a new record for first-week single sales by a female group, surpassing SPEED's "ALL MY TRUE LOVE," which sold 601,000 copies in 1998. Among all female artists (group and solo), "Beginner" ranks #3 in first-week single sales, behind Hikaru Utada's "Addicted To You" (1.068 million) in 1999 and Namie Amuro's "CAN YOU CELEBRATE?" (828,000) in 1997. However, that makes them #1 so far in the 21st century, outselling Utada's "Can You Keep A Secret?" (784,000) in 2001.
"Beginner" is also AKB48's third consecutive single to sell more than half a million copies in the first week. This also sets a record for female artists, as Utada and Ayumi Hamasaki held the previous record with streaks of two consecutive singles.

The sales started at Wednesday, so doesn't that mean that today's sales will be included in the first week sales as well? If so, they can easily beat Amuro.

Darn, I was hoping they'd manage to just beat Namie Amuro! D:
Ah well, awesome first week sales none the less!

Right, now here's my prediction...
Their 19th single will sell like Heavy Rotation and Ponytail to Shushu, getting number one like normal but not being as amazing as Beginner's sales (though maybe getting around 700k possibly if the songs are amazing).
However- I think, if the songs they include on the 20th single are good enough- like beginner or Heavy Rotation- THAT could be their 1 million first week sales record- as not only will it be an awesome single- but it'll be their 20th and possibly even have something special with it....

So I'm hoping for a 2011 record breaking single!!~
