Go on a Highway - http://www.mediafire.com/?yyhld221a5x10v1

but yes, all credit to qwiksXnd @ Nihongogo for those  :)

Yeah, the mp3's I uploaded are the actual single versions. Thanks for the credit  :)

Hehe, I didn't realize there was another PASSPO thread. I thought my thread at nihongogo was the only overseas one, which I thought was really sad because they are so awesome.

Here's my collection:

That giant dvd case is their stage play, which also came with a Sakura Color single. I'm not entirely sure what the play is about so things I am guessing on will have a (?) after them. The play takes place in high school and all of the girls (who are mostly strangers to each other) join the same club (?, the play takes place in a classroom but since they establish early on that they are all in different grades, I'm assuming it's a club).  The central theme of the play was high school friendship (at one point in the play Mio writes the character for "friend" on a chalkboard and it is basically in the background the entire time after that point). The climax of the play involves them having to make an important decision by a vote (and unfortunately I'm not exactly what they are voting on, but one of the girls has to leave). The vote ends without anything being settled because each girl gets one vote. At the end Mio has the courage to break the stalemate and votes herself out. I found a review of the play and google translated it, and evidently the vote was something like the girl had to drop put of school (lol, yeah I'm confused too).

The play was basically a way for the group to showcase their quirky personalities and acting skillz. The girls are pretty good actors too, particularly Mio, Sako, Kaho, Naomi, Shiori, and Makoto. For the girls I didn't mention, I think it was hard for them to stand out because of the role they had. Anna played a shy girl and Natsumi's character was just freakin weird, she was kind of hilarious though. I always considered her the "shy" one, so the role was a total departure for her. Here's some pics of their play:

I rewrote the above because I re-watched it and got a little better understanding of what it was about.

^ Nice pics. Mio and Anna always seem to be together. I thought this pic of them from Mio's blog was cool. They had their 1 year anniversary last week, and for their hard work they got these awesome jackets.

I read a blog entry about their anniversary show at http://snsdlyrics.wordpress.com/2010/11/24/%E3%81%B1%E3%81%99%E3%81%BD%E2%98%86-passpo-1123-1-year-anniversary-show-part-1/ and they broadcasted the live on ustream. I had no idea... we could have seen the show

On a positive note, since they have their first album coming out in a few days:

I was kind of bored today... so I made this pic of what a PASSPO theater could look like (and it wouldn't have pillars of death like the AKB theater):

I'm not really sure what the situation is with their live shows tbh. A lot of the vids they have on their youtube channel they're definitely playing on the same stage. But I can't find any theater info or address at their website. I guess I was expecting something like on the AKB website, where they have a ticket info section that has a map and address of the theater. They also have their schedule posted at their blog and it seems the venue is continually changing.

Here's a listing of all of their live shows and the venue they played at:
http://passpo.jp/biography.html

Lol, I remember when all of the members were blogging about their cafe, so awesome. I think the cafe was open for a while though. I remember them writing about it back in October and just last week I saw a pic of the cafe in one of their blogs. I was surprised when I saw it because it made it seem like it was still open. One of them mentioned the interactive device they in the cafe that played videos and music and they thought it was the coolest thing ever:

And for no particular reason here's a pic of Saco serving a donut!

Great job on the banners. When I first saw them I was like "Whoa, a PASSPO banner!!" and then I went to another page and there was another one of them. I stupidly thought that somehow the website knew I liked them so it triggered a flood of PASSPO banners.

Edit:

I just looked closer at the pic... that donut is from Doughnut Plant, lol. Doughnut Plant is really popular in New York City. I'm from L.A. but I went there when I visited this summer. It looks like there's a doughnut plant in Tokyo now.  It shows that their cafe was pretty high class... as far as donuts go I mean.

TAKE*OFF safely landed in my mailbox. Thanks mr. mail delivery guy! There are a lot of cute photos in the booklet (I actually recognized a few pics their blogs). There's only one new song on the CD, BREAK OUT!!, but it rocks - literally and figuratively. There are several tracks that were previously unreleased, but they're not technically "new". Their music is getting progressively better, which is a great sign (I'd compare it to the situation with Idoling!!!, i.e. their new music is way better than their early stuff). Looking at the liner notes, I thought it was interesting that GPP, Pretty Lie, and BREAK OUT!! (which I think are their best songs) are all written by westerners (Tom Diekmeier, Fredrik Thomander, Nina Ossoff, amongst others). Seemed strangely coincidental.

Four PVs are included in the DVD as well as a short behind-the-scenes video:

GPP                                   Let It Go!!                         Hallelujah                         Sakura Colors

Let It Go!! has some animated scenes in it, which I think are from the anime they released a few months ago:

I have no idea what their anime is about, but the girls do the voice work. I thought this pic from the video was kinda... interesting:

If you haven't received/bought your copy yet I upped BREAK OUT!!
