I think amazingly epic is a pretty safe bet at this point.

On the other hand, I'm wondering why she barely appears in any of the shows? I can't re-call seeing her in anything... Like, literally anything. (edit: lol, she's in the latest Shukan)

Maybe her strength lies in performances rather than variety? If so, all the more reason to put her in some of the shows! That's what AKB is all about, isn't it? Watching them grow in various fields?

Hmm.. just realized she's only 14! Her time will come.

Let's join the bandwagon! I'm convinced that Rena Kato is the new Acchan. That being said I'm quite disappointed that she was promoted to Team 4. Don't get me wrong, Rena absolutely deserves to be promoted but Team 4 already has a bunch of popular members. If I were AKI-P I would have saved Rena for Team 8 and made her the front girl right away. I'm sure that Rena will eventually become the ace of Team 4 but she's gonna need a big push to challenge the more established members like Paruru and Ranran. Anyways Rena definitely has a bright future ahead of her

I'm not so sure anymore. I wonder if she's the type of girl that wants to be at the top. Girls like Mayu and Tomochin have true fighting spirit to be at the top, and also girls like Miichan do whatever it takes to stay in the spotlight. From what I've seen in Kato in variety appearances she doesn't seem like that kind of type. Maybe she's still a bit too young or shy to take on her senpai.

At this point I see her more like Tonooka Erica's character in Idoling; someone who has a lot of skill and is in essence one of the aces of the group, but not necessarily the face. Kato's more like a strong power that runs in the second row, if that makes sense. But that's just the way I see her now, she's still young, she can still open up a bit more and take charge.

This. You have to remember that she's a 14 year girl who became an official member two weeks ago. It's a bit too early for her to claim the center spot
