Cool, although I wish they sold more.  I kind of think that if in an alternate dimension "Learn to Fly" was left off whitism and came out as this single, it would have done better (because it was such an awesome song and PV that it deserved to be a single). The important thing is their exposure is going up and their fanbase is growing.

Looking at the top 50, I'm glad Idoling did well, but I can't believe how poorly Mai Oshima did. And pre-dia didn't chart.

just opened my copy of the single... i ordered the version with the mini PB thing and have to say, i loved it <333 they all look so pretty and damn i won't scan it because i have only one copy but is worth it... oh and also received this japan only application thing and FUCK i want a photo or a sticker (stickers are always win)

anyway... i agree with qwiksXnd that the "... learn to fly" is 100% A-side single material... talking about singles i also recieved this inside my cd, not sure what it says but the date says 2011.11.04 in stores ?????????????? new single? DVD? am i reading the date the wrong way? O___O

...if my eyes are not deceiving me it says first PHOTOBOOK!!!  :panic:  :cow:  :twothumbs  :deco:

+1 on the Learn to Fly single talk. I think that song would've been much more suitable for a single release. La*La*La is a bit... idk. It doesn't seem to have a lot of mainstream appeal, if I can put it that way.

this one is the "first" My White Ribbon version... i'll call it the demo version because i doubt it was released in any form outside afilia cafes (actually i might be wrong)

this one is performed by the Ouritsu Afilia Mahou Gakuin (wut?) and is from THE WORKS 1.2 album

Afilia Saga East had some kind of festival in a game center... they played bowling and other stuff, performed a few songs and meet the fans, they even streamed part of their performance... notice the decorated pins, i think they gave them away as prizes for the fans or something

Cool, the set this photo came from is their first solo concert back in June at DUO MUSIC EXCHANGE. Seems like a cool venue... with the exception of the giant columns .

I've been wondering (I might have asked this before, but I forgot)... why don't they do more concerts? I check their schedule once a week and the June 26 show is still their only concert (not counting mini-lives since those are usually just 2 songs). I want to go back to Japan if there is a week where both ASE and PASSPO have concerts, but so far it seems unlikely.

Thanks for always posting pics shura.

true, they usually do mini-lives and promotions but with half members or less... i assume this is because they still work in the cafes as maids, actually i think the time ASE members are at the cafe are like special events (not sure about this) ... i also know that some girls work promoting 5pb stuff but srsly nothing of this is a real reason to avoid doing more concerts, at least a couple every month might be enough without needing to destroy their current schedules completely.

hehe seems that if you go to japan is more easy to find them working at the cafe that doing ASE performances.

Yeah, since a concert requires a lot of rehearsal time it's probably too hard to organize with all of their different schedules. I guess I was just thinking that the group would have a higher priority than the cafes. But maybe it's the other way around.

Tokyo Idol Festival News

Old news: Last week they decided to attend both days instead of just Saturday.
New news: The schedules for all the groups have been posted. On Saturday they will perform on the "Sky stage" (which is on the roof of the Fuji TV studio) in the evening, and then on the 2nd stage from 21:00-21:45 (late night ASE ). On Sunday they will be on the main stage in the morning  :). I hope their main stage performance makes it into the dvd.  Later in the day they perform on the outdoor stage. The outdoor stage is cool because it is free admission for anyone (except hobos).  You can basically see every group for free on this stage since most of them are scheduled for the free stage at some point.

This years concert sounds amazing. I really like how the schedules are set up, since it makes it really easy for you to stalk your favorite group(s) all day. If I knew it was going to be like that I would have made a better effort to go. I thought it would be like "Idoling" -> random pedo group -> ASE  -> random indie group -> PASSPO -> another pedo group, but the setup really makes it so you can avoid any groups you aren't interested in (which I realize  is kind of missing the point since this is supposed to be about exposure for the no-name groups).

^ so basically you can watch what you want.... interesting and also FUCK YEAH MAIN STAGE but whoa they are performing in every stage :D ... just wonder if they will perform with full squad on the free stage

one DVD won't be enough to cover this year so i was thinking they will release a blu-ray or at least a couple of dvd like part 1 and part 2 or something like that

edit: forgot to post this... ASE streams on nico for this 21, they are performing in the DX idol fest... shit wish i can learn how to record this things... but won't be any help sine my connection sucks

I JUST WATCHED THE SECOND STREAM WITH MOMOI... it was very cool :D it started late but nvm. They did a talking part that was not too long and then Momoi started with the music singing some of her themes \o/ she is very cool and if wasn't because the idea was to promote Afilia Saga she wouldn't open the concert (mini live)... then after 3 songs it was turn for afilia saga and they performed a set of cool songs

Learn to Fly
Koi Game ni Shinaide
Opera Fantasia
Luminous Izumi
WLO

kinda amused that they didn't perform their last single but since they did perform it in the early stream i think is ok... set list was cool i enjoyed it and FUCK HOPE SOMEONE SAVED THIS... yeah right :cokecat:
