Absolutely love this bit of background music to Dark Souls. It's special because it only plays in a well and truly hidden area in the world, that's completely optional to find, but means a lot to those invested in the story. Imagine, for those who have never seen Ash Lake in Dark Souls, you're walking among an ancient mass grave of eternal beasts too powerful for you to comprehend. All wiped out in a genocide by the gods throwing lightning, a miasma of famine and disease and a raging inferno that destroyed their homes. All happening long before history was ever recorded. Each row of massive dead trees now serving as pillars to house the new world formed above and everything is primordial and dead. You look all around you, seeing countless trees in every direction, extending to the skies above, taller than you can see....

And this music then starts to play.

Absolutely amazing, one of those awe inspiring moments when you reach it. Funny fact about this? First time you see this area, the song doesn't actually start when you walk in. Only when you look up towards the trees does it start.

None of your GTAV radio stations are as good as Los Santos Rock Radio.  :yep:

Reason:

Note: I was surprised the song wasn't called "uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh~"

And of course. Must have this:

Just click on your link. It'll go to the normal URL.
Post with that URL, and it will embed:
[noembed]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpzcik4aYnQ&feature=youtu.be[/noembed]

If you want you can clean it up, removing the "&feature=youtu.be" at the end of it.
[noembed]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpzcik4aYnQ[/noembed]

success. :)

Music from the sadly very underated game, that even sadder never got a official soundtrack release (as far as I and the internet know)

The main theme gives me goosebumps everyfuckingtime! It's one of those tracks that practically screams at you ADVENTURE AHEAD!

edit: Ok, I did exactly as winner said, and it still won't embed... aw hell.

With long time composer Marty O'Donnell being fired from Bungie lets take a moment to remember the excellent Halo soundtracks.

Spelunky has a great soundtrack. In a game where death is frequent and you have to restart from the beginning each time all over again, as is typical of a roguelike game, it helps to have a good soundtrack to accompany each attempt and luckily Spelunky has some really great songs.

My personal favourite? The smooth sax jazz if you're lucky (or unlucky) to be in the Yeti caves
