@rndmnwierd: It is an honor because you such a great writer.

I used to read a whole bunch of your fics on renairev a long time ago before I found jphip, lol.

Aww, thanks~ Hmm, you just gave me a good idea...

Aichan could totally go Columbine the place up... and then get thrown into juvie where she's meets dellinquent GAKI-san.

jk.
@badsaints: Hehe, you betcha!
@oddball: You're spot on about the first part.

Hmm, Aichan is gonna go through one heck of a roller coaster starting from now...?
@kano-chan: Ahaha, the love is gonna come soon... or not so soon.

We'll see.
@Fushigidane: Aww, thank you! It's hard for me to write, actually. I can't churn out chapters whenever... only when I feel like writing. As for AiEri... hmm... let's see.

@kurosawa87: You're good.

@fallenxangel24952: No worries, the love will come.

Yeahh, there a reason why though... when I get to writing that part.
I love everyone's comments.

So basically... you guys all got it right about what's gonna happen.

I guess I'm pretty predictable?
Ack, I realized I just died in my game and lost experience points while writing these comment replies this up

but it's all cool.

lol

Chapter 2Life is cruel in its little ways. Things may become boring and routine, but nothing is forever. When one thinks that life in its solitude will never change, the unexpected tends to slap one hard across the face. Sometimes it is just best to have things going painstakingly constant than to wish for change.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As students began shuffling through the halls like a sea of salmon swimming upstream, another boring and predictable day at MM Gakuin was about to begin.
Ai sighed as she slipped past the crowds, making her way to her designated homeroom.
It is not easy being Takahashi Ai, having to live up to everyone’s expectations of you, living a carefully planned out life that you never wanted.
Everything in your life is controlled; everything down to the little details is done with a purpose in mind. You are not living for yourself, but as a mere shadow of what your parents expect of you. You are living in the shadows of what they're trying to make right of their failed dreams.
Meandering her way through the rowdy classroom, making sure to dodge paper airplanes in flight, Ai once again slips into the seat that she has called hers for the past month as a senior in high school.
Ai patiently sits while waiting for her mini-sized, yet very loud and outspoken homeroom teacher to quiet down the class and call out attendance.
Here we go again... another typical day.
However, the usual morning roll call that she was so used to expecting, never came.
"Class, it's that time of the year again!" exclaimed the tiny woman with exaggerated hand gestures.
Hmm, that was unexpected. What ever happened to roll call?
"We have a new student joining us today from Fukuoka!" Yaguchi-sensei said energetically.
Wow, since when in a new moon do we ever get transfers?
Yaguchi-sensei motioned for the said-girl to come up to the front of the room for introductions.
How did she get there... I didn't see her on my way in. Maybe my eyes just played tricks on me after seeing all these familiar faces...
"Tanaka Reina desu. Yoroshiku!" the girl announced with an air of confidence, while gesturing her hand in a salute motion.
This girl has some nerve to be speaking like that... she shouldn't belong to a prestigious school like MM Gakuin.
Feeling a slight, insistent prodding at her shoulder, Ai turned around to see a slightly annoyed bunny glaring nastily at her. "Ugh, Aichan. You're even more spaced out than Eri sometimes!"
At the mention of her name, the turtle jolted awake from her sweet dreams causing quite a commotion in the classroom with her fidgeting in her seat. "Yes, sensei! Huh? What? What?"
The bunny rolled her eyes at the turtle and continued on with what she originally planned to ask Ai. "So what do you think of the new girl?"
"She looks like a nice girl... Her style and fashion sense is quite intriguing," Ai replied, pushing aside her true thoughts about the girl.
Well, the second part is true to a certain extent.
"Ehh!? You think she looks nice? She looks tough with that 'bad-boy' image of hers and her style just totally screams yankii to me!" Sayu shrilled while letting her poison-tongue slip.
Ai glanced ahead at the girl in question, who was now currently going over some paper work with the tiny woman, and examined her with scrutiny. Having taken advantage of the casual wear week, Reina had on a black mini-skirt that went up well above her knees, with an oversized purple top along with matching accessories and conspicuous chains that glistened in the room light.
Hmm, quite intriguing, indeed.
In fact, Ai quite envied (and admired) the girl for her flashy, eye-catching individuality and defiant character. Her deviation from the norm of all the good and innocent girls at the school, including Ai herself, was quite refreshing. It was a break from the monotony and generic images she faced everyday. However, what Ai admired the most was the courage that the girl had that she didn't possess herself.
"We have a new student joining us today from Fukuoka!" Yaguchi-sensei said energetically.
Yaguchi-sensei motioned for the said-girl to come up to the front of the room for introductions.
"Tanaka Reina desu. Yoroshiku!" Reina announced with her usual, favorite introduction.
Quickly scanning the sea of unfamiliar faces, she managed to pinpoint one that stood out to her the most.
Che. What’s this country girl doing here? Heck, she almost fits in less than I do.
Not wanting to change her line of sight, Reina slowly turned her head away from the person of her interest to pay attention to her teacher, as she realized that the tiny lady had spoken to her.
“Tanaka-san, when you find the time, please take these important documents that I have prepared for you up to the front office.” Yaguchi-sensei instructed firmly.
“Uhh, yeah, sure thing, sensei.” Reina said offhandedly, not really paying attention to what the lady had instructed her to do.
“OH! I totally forgot! You must not know where the front office is, huh, since you’re new here. No wonder why you sounded so unsure!” Yaguchi-sensei exclaimed while smacking her forehead with her right hand.
“Huh, what?” Reina blurted out automatically in response to her teacher’s outburst.
What the heck is this tiny woman going on about? Her voice is getting kind of irritating.
“Why don’t I assign someone to show you around the school? While I’m at it, I’ll find a permanent seat for you in the classroom also. Hmm, let’s see here…” Yaguchi-sensei said as she pondered over her seating chart, flipping through her students’ profiles and grades.
Shifting her weight around from one foot to the other, Reina’s feet were about to kill her as she stood waiting for the tiny woman to sort out her seating arrangement.
Ugh, I don’t care what you do, just let me out of here as soon as possible.“Alrighty, all set! You can sit next to Takahashi-san, the school’s honor student! She most definitely can help you out! She’s a great and reliable role model.” assured Yaguchi-sensei while clapping her hands together.
“Takahashi-san…?” Reina questioned as she looked around once again at the room full of unfamiliar students, now of whom were chattering endlessly amongst themselves.
Not her…“I’m guessing that’s the open seat in the middle of the second row?” Reina said with a questioning tone as she pointed to the location.
“That’s correct! Now go on ahead and make yourself comfortable with your new classmates while I finally get the class started.” Yaguchi-sensei insisted as she began gathering up preparations to start the class.
Dammit. It’s gonna be hard to get along with such a goody two-shoes.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posting this chapter later than I had planned...
Personally I don't really like how the second part turned out, after rereading it, that is. The pace feels off to me?
or maybe that's just cause I wrote it a while back and forgot what the pace is supposed to be.
So... after reading this chapter, any guesses on the pairings?
Let's put up a poll shall we? Vote for the pairing that you think will be together at the
end of fic.
As for the next chapter... I decided to scrap most of my prewritten work that I have for this fic and start anew. The content is still the same, but I'm just going to change some POVs and grammar issues. It'll be here... in a bit.
