And, since Abe is performing AGAIN (no offense shi!), do you think the host gets to pick who they want on the show with them? If so, then maybe the episode after the 1st Ayaya Host one will be Miki/Aya But anyways, everyone so far (not including the kids) have had a connection to the other person... Even the kids, if you think about it! Abe/Taka (stretch) are/were the MM frontgirls until 13 year olds came and took their place Abe/Satoda had recently toured together. Abe/Yuko. Yuko/Kao. Sayu/Ayu - She's the lead of MKB, the audition song of Sayu's that she always sings and show how she's improved (Was the third time). Sayu/Maki... I have no idea! Risa/Eri hang out a lot together lately... Along with Reina. Abe/Aya had Diva & NUN together among other things like shuffles (Odoru 11, Salt5).

Ehh...I don't know...it could be. But I actually think that the producers chose the guests for them that they think would be interesting for the show. If they chose someone who aren't close and have never worked together, it could be very awkward for them and that'd affect the show.

But if the hosts actually get to choose their own guests...then my dream might come true.

Well, finished watching again!!

Risa's Koe was indeed nice, even if there wasn't a lot of variation in her voice. If she could add more vibrato, it would be great! Either way, a nice performance by her, as I could expect. She seemed more aware of the audience than with Koi no hana, too. As for her looks, I couldn't help but notice her head looked way big with her hair all curly and fluffy like that. It sometimes happens to Nacchi, as well, so I found it funny.

I'm so glad they at least left the stupid video bits out this time and let Risa and Reina just talk. However, I think it would still be more interesting to pair up members who don't know each other very well. Maybe it's just me,  but it gets tiring to watch two good friends having fun with each other. It was much more fascinating to e.g. see how Sayumi and Shibata interacted, or how Nacchi and Aichan interacted. Something unique. Could be just me, though.

Little Maimai was a bit more boring than I'd expected. I guess she's only crazy around Chisato or other C-ute members. She was pretty quiet and harmless. Insanely cute, though, as always... I somehow couldn't get over how young she looked, though. Especially during her performance, there's something weird about watching someone who looks 8 dancing and singing. Her singing was pretty good for her age, however. Cute voice, though not unique. It was funny to see she had so much choreography.

Once again, not too much to comment on about the talk with Risa and Reina. When Reina walked to the stage to sing, it creeped me out she was staring right at the camera. It was just so surprising, heh. I was kind of disappointed at her song choice. I mean ok, they're trying to push Reina to the sexy direction, but I'm just not buying it. I thought it was a bad song to perform with a live band and also, don't know if it was just because I haven't listened to the original version a lot before, but I couldn't really grab the melody in the verses, so... It wasn't nearly as good as Reina could do. And can someone tell her just adding lots of  "hhhhhhh" to the end of lines won't make your singing super sexy. I just didn't really like this perf, I think she could much, MUCH better. Kinda angers me there's a live band and the chance to perform something good is thrown away with a song choice like that just because UFA or Reina wants more sexy sexy ahh ahh blah blah yada yada.

In the end, I guess Risa really shined in the HPH this time for me, and Maimai was cute. Otherwise it wasn't that great.

GyaO and H!P: Why do you think they have such a good relationship ??

GyaO does awesome sites for H!P releases, better than H!P official site itself. They rely on H!P girls for dramas and songs, they interview them, and they even give H!P their own tv spaces like Hello! Pro Hour.

What do you think of this marriage between GyaO and H!P ??
Looks like the relation that TV Tokyo and H!P had on the gold era.

Well, I watched HPH again!

First of all, the talk with Ayaya and Nacchi was so far the best talk in HPH for a viewer who doesn't speak Japanese. I was surprised because my expectations weren't high, seeing as I never thought Aya and Nacchi were very close. I did notice Nacchi made very little eye-contact with Aya, and there was something weird in the atmosphere... Yet they managed to be so funny I enjoyed the talk. Some of the funniness wasn't really intended, though - when Nacchi was explaining something, I noticed Ayaya has the weirdest "eeehhh" replies, so I listened to those and they made me laugh. Also, I absolutely love it when H!P members are tortured with old videos of themselves. I know I criticized showing videos in HPH before, but this time Nacchi and Aya's "enough!! nooo!!" reactions were so funny it was worth it!

Seems like I skipped Aya's performance, but I don't have a lot to say about it. So let's go to Miyabi! Miyabi talked a bit more than I thought, but she was still quiet compared to what she's like around other kids, heh. Her performance was pretty cool, but somehow I was constantly afraid her voice would break (and it did, at least once). Still, I think it was pretty good and I'm still a fan of her voice.

The latter part of the Aya + Nacchi talk continued to be hilarious. I'm not sure, but I think they talked about each other's dialects at one point?? That's what I guessed, but who knows. I found it funny, anyway, because they seemed to be competing at one point. Also, the staring competition was AWESOME, best section in HPH so far!! I don't mind that Nacchi lost because her disappointed face was so cute. The mini "The Stress" performance was cool as well! I must watch it over and over again. I was laughing so much and so happy during the latter part of this talk, I never could've expected it. Huge props to Ayaya and Nacchi for it.

The performance of Kousui was great as well. I was surprised they harmonized, since I can't remember that happening at NUN concert (? did it?). Sounded great and I will definitely play it in my Nacchi show when I get back in Oulu.

To my surprise this might just be my favourite HPH so far. I'm not the biggest Ayaya fan, so my expectations weren't that high because of that, either. But yes, I'd consider this a must-get to anyone who's even a bit curious to watch it.
