holy CRAP! sayu's gag was just... ah man. entertaining... in a bloody ear sort of way. maki's performance was nice to be sure. the kid was forgetable though as i already forgot which one was on this week... not the best HPH.

really looking forward to risa eri episode!!

She IS a good singer with everything except vocal talent/pitch!

And I thought it started out as pretty good, but those high notes are horrible! :evil: BUT that song is a killer to sing alone, so some props to that. And I think she could've reach it if she went into falsetto, but she never did throughout the whole song

Sayu did go off at some parts but the song is rather high so I thought she did rather well. Plus she looked good enough to make up for it

HOLY CRAP! I SERIOUS THOUGHT KANNA WAS ERI! I couldn't remember which song I clicked on trying to listen to them, and momentarily forgot which song was sung by who!!

ACTUALLY! I WISH doesn't sound at all like Eri, so I think who ever updated the songs got the people switched

I kinda wish they did Eggs..

I'm so damn curious about them. If it's Berryz next, I'll be more curious to see the interviews than the singing parts, which is kind of weird because so far I've been most excited about the perfs o_o

I think they've been using the word "Kids," so Berryz could be next. Gawd...let them be next! I hope they won't sing their own songs..if they're to be on the show, that is.

Are you able to watch the videos off the links on the GyaO site? I signed up a few months ago and got as far as the video player screen, it did some Digital Rights Management thing and then told me it wouldn't let me see the video because I don't have a Japanese ip.

Ok, finished watching HPH #7!

Risa's Koi no Hana was pretty good! I don't actually like the harmony clutter in the original version, so it was nice to hear the song with just one vocal melody. I was somewhat disappointed with Risa's performance otherwise though, it seemed like she was in her own world instead of performing the song to others. Either way, she was pretty and stuff.

Once again the talk with Risa and Eri included some video footage which I dislike. So let's skip to Kanna. Her replies mostly consisted of "hai" and "aaa~" so she seemed a bit nervous, but she was so cute! It was funny she accidentally called Risa "Niigaki-chan", although I think it was honestly more a tongue slip than a mind slip.

She seemed to loosen up towards the end too, so I guess Risa has the ability to make the other person relax in an interview. I also think Kanna's reactions to Niigaki were funny at times.

Kanna's version of I WISH was vocally pretty bad, her voice is kinda whiny and not that strong. However, there was obvious change in her voice and the mood of the song when the chorus started and for some reason her performance was pleasant to watch. She was actually performing instead of just standing on stage. Loved the smile on her face. I felt the performance was more than just a karaoke version of a MM song, even if the vocals weren't that good. So Kanna continues to be one of my favourite kids.

Now, I found the talk with Risa and Eri surprisingly boring, heh. So I haven't really got a lot to say about that. Eri's version of 100kai no kiss was pretty lovely, however. I love the little vibrato thing she has going on. I kinda hoped for a bit more strength in some parts though (her voice sounded so 'breathy' at times), but the wow-wows made up for that a bit. In any case I like Eri's voice a lot.

In sum, this HPH was very nice. The talks were a bit more boring than I expected, but the perfs were quite special and cool.

If I was some of these girls (the younger ones, at least), I'd be pretty nervous, too x__x But it's nice that after Airi, the younger girls (Saki, Chisato, Kanna, and Mai) all have a host that's easy to talk to, I guess. Basically, I'd want my host to be someone like Gaki or Eri

They both seem pretty nice and everything to everyone

Performances were pretty good. I loved Eri's, and Risa's was awesome, too. I agree with shi that Kanna wasn't exactly what I expected, but damn is she adorable!! I loved her outfit, too. And she looked like Maimi-Koharu in her performance

And her voice is like Risako-Nakajima

Her voice isn't that bad, but it could use a bit of work ^^;;

We need a Kanna PB (non-swimsuit!)!!

I vote Kamei for solo career!

Wooh, Chisato IS good ! Sje have a nice voice. She needs just to work a little more. But Kanna is not very good.

Watching Risa perform Koi no Hana was painful. She was so flat and wasn't hitting the notes like they should have been.
