As far as I can tell it contains individual member interviews, scandal's history, photos from their lives, handwritten diary pages and some sheet music/or notes on 'Shunkan Sentimental' and 'Taiyou to Kimi ga Egaku STORY.'

This is not the same book you get with the Temptation Box+PB version.

One thing I'm worried about that it will be full of text with hardly any pictures. It mentions 'comments on this and that' and 'interview' and 'diary' which are all... text related

It's a music book for those who wants to play their songs.

But it also has pictures of the band and accessories as well as articles but written in Japanese.

The pictures alone are worth it for the serious Scandal fan even if you can't read Japanese or don't play musical instruments.
