And I just almost finished a way-too-much-work house made of ice that nobody even saw. Oh well, at least now I have some unused prime real estate.

Terraria takes a while to warm up but is a lot of fun once you get into it. Minecraft could definitely take some notes with all the crazy loot, npcs, events and monsters. Multiplayer doesn't work for me though. :/

1.7 update pistons preview.

I want to make that hidden door. O_O

Also a really freaking awesome Notch and Todd Howard interview/talk. :O Love these guys.

I finally got around to playing this game and now I'm totally hooked.

My first house that isn't some creaky shack or a hole in the wall:

That's the second time I made that fireplace. The first time was a disaster. :nervous

Creeper painting.

I must say, it's a pretty pimping pad.

It's nicely positioned on the meeting point of three biomes.

Savanna, desert, and apparently some sort of boreal forest.

Now I just need a bit of clay...

Also, pm me the server info if you all want someone new to build with. :twothumbs

Was looking around, checked out Kimuuu's resort.

Since it's "Rika's Beach Bunny Resort", I felt it was missing something...

I also took the liberty of fixing the water flow problems.

Omfg, Slack. That is amazing. I bow to you. This is great!

Edit: just noticed the thing about the water. Thank you! How did you do it? I tried but failed.

Yeah, water behavior can be puzzling.
The minecraftwiki article was a major help figuring it out:

1. You can only fill buckets with water source blocks.
2. An empty block will only be converted to a water source if both these two conditions are met:
- It must be directly adjacent to at least two other water source blocks.
- It must have a solid block directly underneath it.
The second condition is the tricky one.

What this means if you fill a bucket from a water source block that is above another water source block, it will not be converted into a source.
This makes it possible to have empty voids in a seemingly solid body of water.
These voids will show water flowing into them, or if they aren't at the surface will make it hard to move through them.

How you fix this is by making a pillar from the bottom until the top block turns into a source, then you can tear it down one block at a time from the top.
Alternately, if the void is next to a solid block, you could put a water source block there with a bucket.

You can prevent this by making sure you only take buckets from 1-block-deep water.

^ I remember learning about the water physics the hard way when I tried to set up that waterfall and pool in one of my worlds.

I also watched a few videos on how to make pools and infinite water sources. Too bad lava doesn't work the same way.  :(

Seems like a fire has broken out on the piece of land I made by teleporting from far inside of the nether!

I think that happens when trees spawn next to lava on the surface, lol

Edit: found out why~ the fire went out already too, no danger :D

I've kinda been staying away from minecraft till the update. Sounds like it will be Thursday and is another bug fix update besides pistons and sheers, which sound pretty neat. Will be used for sheep sheering and gathering placeable leaf blocks/bushes!

Hopefully Notch and Jeb can ramp up adding lots of new stuff and not taking as long between updates. Or at least do big updates if it's gonna be over a month between. Check out the crazy game changing stuff this guy made where lately it takes Notch months to add maps and bugfixes. :/

Not sure what the creator has against wolves though. Might be some issues there.

New update D:

+ Added pistons
+ Fire or redstone is now required to trigger TNT
+ Fences can be stacked
+ Added shears
+ Shears can be used to pick up leaf blocks
+ Shears can be used to shear sheep without hurting them
* Sheep no longer drop wool from being punched
- Removed Herobrine

SO NOW U NEED IRON TO MAKE SHEARS AND NEED SHEARS TO GET ANY WOOL. T-T lol
bye bye sheep punching >o< *lonely tear*

I've been building a hotel in the smaller snowland near where I also have my snow valley & snow wall ^^

This is the hotel!

There are 3 rooms at present, I'm not planning on building more rooms atm but I'm thinking of adding a craft area & maybe a sightseeing tower on the roof.

The hotel has a sauna 8D (Yes there's a fire behind that glass)

No shower tho sorry, but you can roll around in snow after.

EDIT: ALMOST FORGOT!!

DO VISIT THE HOTEL! YOU CAN EVEN BOOK A ROOM IF YOU'D LIKE.

It's kind of far away tho:
480.9
79.6
-2720.679
There's a nether connect quite near in my snow valley, but I haven't used it to travel to other locations yet so idk >_>

Here's my snow valley:

(Can you tell I love using ice blocks)

ANOTHER EDIT:
There's a nether portal to mah valley, in the nether it's at:
60
96
-333
