i read a few articles that popped up today about uchi and kusano returning to news/kanjani8. here's a rough translation for all of you <3
From Yahoo News:
元ＮＥＷＳでジャニーズ事務所の研修生・内博貴（２０）と草野博紀（１９）が復帰舞台を終える９月以降、それぞれソロまたはグループで“再デビュー”する可能性が高いことが１５日、分かった。
The trainees Uchi Hiroki (20) and Kusano Hironori (19) of Johnny Jimusho’s NEWS will find out on the 15th whether they have a high chance of re-debuting with their group or having solo activities after their stage comeback ends in September..
 
９日に東京・青山劇場で開幕した少年隊主演のミュージカル「ＰＬＡＹＺＯＮＥ２００７『Ｃｈａｎｇｅ２Ｃｈａｎｃｅ』」で、飲酒騒動から内は２年ぶり、草野は１年半ぶりに仕事復帰。２幕は実話を基にしたストーリーで、２人はファンの前で初めて騒動について語っている。この日も内は謹慎中にお寺で修行する覚悟があったことや母から鉄拳で気合を注入されたことなどを明かし「十字架を背負い、新しく生まれ変わるチャンスを頂きました」と目には涙。草野も「皆さんのおかげで帰って来られました」とそろって頭を下げた。
On the 9th in Tokyo’s Aoyama Theater, the curtain was raised on the musical Playzone 2007 “Change2Chance,” in which they star. Uchi is returning after 2 years and Kusano 1 and a half after a scandal involving alcohol. When the curtain rose, the two addressed their fans for the first time regarding their scandal. During his hiatus, Uchi had the resolution to work at a temple, and was screamed at and hit by his mother, etc. “This is my chance to transform and be born again” he said with tears in his eyes. Kusano also said “It is thanks to everyone that we could return” while bowing his head.

　セリフが本心であることを歌やダンスでも証明。会場が温かい拍手に包まれ、同事務所のジャニー喜多川社長も心を動かされたようだ。９月７日（大阪・梅田芸術劇場）の千秋楽以降、白紙だった活動について「２人のＮＥＷＳ、内の関ジャニ∞への復帰はない」とした上で、「ソロやグループでやっていくだろう」との考えを示した。
Their song and dance will verify their true feelings. In the performance hall, they were enveloped in warm applause, and seemed to have moved Kitagawa’s heart. Regarding the blank paper of their activities after the play’s end on September 7, JE said “There will be no return of the two to NEWS or Uchi to Kanjani8. They may be a solo or a group.”
 

　ただし、これで即、本格復帰の決定とはいえず、今作を演じきることが絶対条件に変わりはない。関係者によると、ジャニー氏の“再デビュー構想”はまだ本人たちに伝えられていない模様で、内、草野はこのまま舞台に全力を注ぐだけだ。
Although it is not determined whether they will have a true return, there will absolutely be no change to them finishing this play. According to an official, JE’s re-debut plan has not been communicated to the two involved, and Uchi and Kusano will continue pouring all of their heart and strength into the play.

ただし内博貴と草野の研修生復帰が発表された際「２人のＮＥＷＳ、内の関ジャニ∞への復帰はない」とジャニーズ事務所が明言しているため、新グループなのではと推測できる。
    JE has given a statement on the circumstance of Uchi and Kusano's full return saying "There will be no return of the two to NEWS or Uchi to Kanjani8." However, there have been conjectures that the two will form a new group.

it's all unconfirmed for now, and i hope it turns out to be bull.

I'm in two minds about this. On one hand I think that it sucks that they can't go back coz the way I understood it, even with the demotions, they were considered suspended from the group activities. And suspended means that after whatever amount of time Kitagawa et al feels is appropriate, he will let them back.

On the other hand, it isn't all that bad to have them do something new coz then it's really a 'start over from zero' kind of thing. But really. If Goro can go back to SMAP after bumping a police officer with his car, I don't see why the same can't apply to these two.

Then again, there's always the argument that SMAP doesn't live by normal JE rules etc etc...

Don't know if you've seen this as yet, but the NewS 'Dreams' PV is basically cut/pasted scenes out of their concert DVD. LOTS of manly tears... T_T

Only their DVD "NEVER ENDING WONDERFUL STORY". But its seems that Johhny prefers to keeps KAT-TUN with singles and such things than NEWS ._.

Ooh, I just seen the Dreams PV... this is actually my first Johnny's experience. So much screaming! But I really wanna hear more from this group, so I'll keep looking... does anyone know any good downloading sites? <_<

I can hear the sound of the water as my girlfriend is taking her shower. I'm lying on my back on the bed and slowly close my eyes. Until now, we have played with each other hundreds of times, and in my mind, I see my girlfriend's face and body. Her round black pupils, her small and firm body. And her hair which looks black, but turns brown when the sun is streaming through it...

After a while, my girlfriends steps out of the bath, a towel wrapped around her. I hurry to turn my attention back to the present, and turning to her I start to talk.

"Come here, sit down. ... no, that's not an order. I just want you to sit close to me."

Instead of an answer, my girlfriend sits down on the bed next to mine with a smile, letting the towel soak up the water from her skin. The sweet smell from her shampoo softly tickles my nose which is sensitive to smells more than anyone else's.

"Whenever we come here, you become even more beautiful than before."

When I throw the words over my shoulder as I let the dryer blow my hair, she turns her nude body as if she were embarrassed.

Two years have passed since the two of us became lovers. Everything was favourable for our relationship, but the source of our sorrow is that we cannot go out and meet freely. Basically, we meet once a day when we go out to the park, but I think it would be so great if we could spend more time the way we would like to.

"You also look great. Recently, when we met at the park, your hair had such a shine to it that I barely recognized you."
