So... I hear Akanishi's going on hiatus from October till January, and that he may even continue on an indefinite hiatus after that one? Something about him going abroad to study in Spain.

I've fallen out with KT a bit, but this news surprises me. I wouldn't have minded if it was Kame, but not Jiiinnn.

KAT-TUN loses it's A for a while... or maybe forever. Akanishi Jin leaves the group to go study in another country. JE is not officially reporting it as a graduation but as a break Jin wanted to do. According to the press note sent to the media, Jin will stay away from the group for six months. In college language, six months is a semester, exactly the amount time that subjects and exams last in a private university. Jin confessed early this year his wish to come to Spain. Could this one be the chosen county? Of course JE does not say where is he going. Have a safe trip, Jin!

That said, some gossip tabloids are already smelling a covered scandal just catch in time before exploding. So far, KAT-TUN last single will be Pure One on sale Nov 1st. Jin is not on it, and he did not attend the recording, that was done time ago, before his break was told to the press. Some voices say JE was threatened for the very first time. JE is a powerful group that has covered very well his scandals of underage drinking (reason why NEWS is on hiatus) and press did not make a big stuff of it. But this time it looks like something else is involved: a girl. Rumors of Jin being with a girlfriend are nothing new. However, the last thing JE wants in this world is their boys to be paired up. Some tablids see here a reason why Jin leaves.

Ohhh. Well yeah, Jin does seem like the type to sacrifice stuff for the sake of love. Like when he was rumored to be dating Eriko formerly of SPEED.

But ack x_x if there's no Jin on this single, then that means someone else has to get more lines. And I'd hate to sound mean but err... their singing ability isn't that great xD And if they pile everything onto Kame he'll really suffer when he has to perform live (unless he lipsynch's, but thats another story)

ya I saw this news too in some other Chinese newspapers, but I haven't find anything in any Japanese newspapers yet so I doubt this is actually true.
But if he is going out with Chinami, I feel sad for Chinami.
