MAYUYU HAS BEEN BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY WATERS OF THE CENTER POSITION.

Manatsu is proof. And Acchan, its high Priest, has given her the mantle.

The day we feared has waltzed up to us before we could even realize it.

Entry and acceptance into WotaGakuin is not only difficult, it is nearly impossible (97% of applicants are turned down)

And of the approximately 2000 students entering each year, only 100 of those are fortunate enough, shall we daresay blessed enough, to be invited to sit at Professor Sashihara's lectures. Without further ado, (and as this must have been posted before somewhere, apologies to those that have already posted), I present the esteemed Professor:   :yossi:

So...  I came across these photos on Flickr:

AKB48 Official Shop Harajuku
AKB48 Official Shop Harajuku

and then I tracked to the shop's website:  http://akb48cafeshops.com/wp/harajuku/access/

and copied the address there:  東京都渋谷区神宮前1-19-9

into Google Maps:  http://maps.google.com/

and dropping into StreetView, I find that the ABK48 store in Harajuku used to be a place called Lotteria - seems to be a Korean** burger joint http://www.lotteria.com/eng/

Anyway, no more Korean burgers in Harajuku (maybe the Maccas you can see down the street was too much competition for them!), but you can buy AKB48 instead.  Well, their stuff.   :D

Apparently the AKB48 store opened in July 2011:
http://www.tokyohive.com/2011/07/akb48-to-open-an-official-store-in-harajuku/

Just thought I'd mention it.   O0   :P

** Edit:  Seems Lotteria actually started in Japan in 1972, but nowadays is more popular in Korea.

Worried? I think the proper emotion here is 'excitement'.

I actually really liked the PV for Manatsu no Sounds Good. The song sounds incredible, and a fitting farewell for our human titan, Maeda Atsuko.

To think, without her, we wouldn’t have a Matsui Jurina, Rena, Sayanee, Milky, Churi, Non, Karen, Shimada, Paruru etc. (Or Juri and Riichan. Definitely favor them over Kato. Even though Kato will be drop dead, Yoshitaka Yuriko-level gorgeous in 5 years. She looks like Miyazaki Aoi.)

Too bad Minarun didn’t make this PV. The fallen star of Oba Mina. Abe Maria replaced her.

We wouldn’t have the budget to go to Guam and film dystopias.

Mayuyu’s been groomed for this her entire career in AKB almost.

I’m excited for Mayuyu to be center.

She isn’t my oshi at all, but this year seems to be such an exciting year for her. Drama, solo debut, but more importantly a new hairstyle and talking in a deeper and less nasally voice!!!

I cringe at all these edits of Mayuyu now because they’re so old and Mayuyu’s reinvented herself into the image of one thing.

The center of AKB.
