Sometimes I wonder why SKE48 remains my favorite group. AKB's pretty powerful lately with UZA, NMB is super fun, HKT is super fresh... so, why? Why is it that I still think I'm an SKE oshi?

Oh, yeah, that's pretty much it.

Also, go have some Churi pics while you're at it. I plan to picspam random SKE girls with unupdated threads once in a while. Can't do it all at once, that's just too much man.

Mad props to Melcchi and his work at keeping the NMB pics so up to speed. He's stonger than me.

M: Not interested might be a dangerous answer, I’ll change it this year. I think falling in love will probably allow me to sing better. Like understanding heartache. So this year, I’ll aim for unrequited love (half-smiles).

—What is your ideal type and the age you want to get married at?
M: My type is someone who is more mature than me. And I want someone who makes me think that we can support each other or work hard together. I’ve always thought I wanted to get married at 40, but I want kids too, so I’d like to get married at 30. I don’t know.

Takahashi Minami on Her Dreams
—Your long time dream of solo debut is coming true.
M: I was so surprised. Having the members and the fans congratulate me at such a big venue made me really happy. It was like a manga to be able to do what I’ve been saying of making my dream come true while being in AKB48.

—Maybe they can make a manga called “The Takahashi Minami Story” on Shonen Jump.
M: ! (speechless). I’d die of embarrassment.

—If you could make a request, what kind of song do you want to sing?
M: Probably rock. I want to sing a song with some kind of message.

—Any memories?
T: We actually had a fight before she graduated. From around the beginning of July. There wasn’t a specific reason, just everything up until then accumulated. We had something like this before, but I thought this time, we won’t make up. Not that we’d dislike each other, but that we won’t talk anymore.

—How did you guys make up?
T: I thought it wasn’t right for me to not send her off properly for her graduation since we’ve been together for 7 years and we were close. I heard that Atsuko had been thinking about me too. But I didn’t know how to make up… I talked to some others, and I bought matching necklaces as her graduation gift and told her, ‘I’m sorry.’ This was the eve of the Tokyo Dome.

—You made it barely in time.
T: On the first day of the concert, Atsuko wore the necklace I gave her. But I wasn’t wearing mine (laughs). It was precious, so I thought I’d better leave it at home. But I wore my necklace from the next day on, and we were matching for the rest of the time.
