I never really got why people though Lemon wouldn't fit in with NMB. Isn't her character pretty much hilarious by default? That definitely meshes well with the group's comedy background.

Maybe they meant she wouldn't "stack up" in another way.

I don't know about you, but I think Miorin fits in perfectly with the NMB group. In fact, I felt that she was out of place in AKB o.O

Her voice is a bit annoying though..

Yeah, I wish they'd let her stop having to talk in that high pitched voice but I guess once you've got an established character you've just got to roll with it.
