I've heard Beginner more times than I should reveal To be fair, Heavy Rotation & Ponytail are also awesome, as are the b-sides in Chance.

Heavy Rotation.. while not as inventive as Beginner or Sakura no Shiori, its pretty much a good idol song that anyone can appreciate.

This was a tough one, but Ponytail to Shushu gets the edge, mainly because of Majijo Teppen Blues.

1. Sakura no Shiori: Was apprehensive about it at first, but man, I love this song. B-sides are freaking awesome as well.
2. Beginner: If the B-sides had been moar awesome for this single, Beginner could've taken it for me. I'd say Beginner is probably my top Single song of 2010.
3. Heavy Rotation: Another great A-side. B-sides were rather weak imo.
4. Chance no Junban: This one is slowly growing on me. Having Kurumi to Dialogue on it alone is already awesome enough lol.
5. Ponytail to Shushu: Listenable enough for me. Not my favorite though. Again B-sides were kinda weak with the exception of Majijo Teppen Blues.

Beginner is definitely the best SONG of 2010, but in terms of full single, Sakura no Shiori takes it for it's terrific B-sides.

Cannot bring backing tracks into this as it will make choosing more complicated and difficult as it already is. I choose Heavy Rotation and it is almost a fortuitous choice because had I not experienced it at the Singapore concerts, it wouldn't even register in my radar. Also because the PV created quite a shitstorm over the internets.

Sakura no Shiori, though, is very very nice.

Voted for Beginner but only for 僕だけのvalue. It's my favourite AKB song since 君のことが好きだから but I didn't like the A-side nearly as much.

1. Beginner: The PV might have sucked but the song itself is still my all time favorite AKB48 single.
2. Heavy Rotation: The most awesome PV ever?
3. Sakura no Shiori: I admit that I hated SnS at first but it grew on me A LOT. The b-side songs were cool as well.
4. Chance no Junban: CnJ is without a doubt the weakest single but the b-sides (ALIVE & Kurumi to Dialogue) are crack.
5. Ponytail to Shushu: I do prefer Ponytail over Chance both PV and song wise but the b-side songs were pretty forgettable.
