More about the Bridal show Shiori/Shioli :? was in, just edited it for her info.

On December 23rd, nineteen-year-old actresses Kutsuna Shiori and Gouriki Ayame received the ‘2nd Japan Wedding Best Dresser Award‘. They attended the event wearing beautiful wedding dresses, which was a first for both.

The award is given based on, ‘celebrities that people would like to see in a wedding dress the most’.

Having yet to grow accustomed to such dresses, both of the young actresses had to watch their steps as they walked in front of the reporters.

Kutsuna was just as happy and said, “It’s an award every women would be happy to receive. I want to wear a similar dress for my own marriage ceremony.”

In response to the question, when they would like to get married, both of them replied, “I don’t know~“.

The two actresses were also asked to make a comment on the past year of 2011 and to reveal their plans for Christmas.

Kutsuna explained, “It was a year with many partings and first meetings, as my surroundings changed with the graduation from senior high school.” Being a native Australian, she added, “It still feels new to me that I have to wear a muffler during Christmas. I guess I’m still used to the warm Christmas season at home.”

The Shiori Kutsuna Film Festival continues, with the screening of "Beck". Shiori plays the younger sister of Hiro Mizushima's rocker character in this film about the struggles of a rock and roll group trying to make it big time. Takeru Sato plays a young, bullied and withdrawn high school student who turns out to have an amazing voice and an eye for the pretty ladies, as his character and Shiori's character are the main love story of the film. Shiori had a major part, and in this role she used her native English quite a bit-overall a very solid performance on her part, and looking forward to her continuing success! :deco:

Just finished watching the final episode of "Kaseifu no Mita", and in terms of the Shiori Kutsuna Film and Drama Festival, this was a very important and memorable role for Shiori. Will talk about the drama itself elsewhere, but Shiori was really impressive in this drama. Certainly the show belonged to Nanako Matsushima in many ways in her role as Mita san, and Hiroki Hasegawa in his role as Keiichi Asuda, the father of the family that Mita takes care of, was also a key player (as well as much respect to the rest of the cast, including Saki Aibu).

But Shiori, as eldest daughter Yui Asuda, took on this pivotal role and was great. Really enjoyable seeing her get such a full character to play.

So rather than clips from the drama (which I can recommend to all!), here is a tribute to Shiori, recently posted by YouTuber iAMhAZeLL.
