About 70 years after Roosevelt Ware tucked away his beloved toy 1936 Pontiac car for safekeeping, he returned to pull it from its small rock garage in the Dickert community near Wadley.

I liked that story. Wow, the car is in such good condition after all these years, and amazing it was still there.

I like the idea of a time capsule. A few years ago we were having an old fireplace bricked up and before the last pieces were put in I got a few old newspapers and sealed them in plastic bags and put the package inside, so years from now someone will find it. Occasionally we'd find old newapapers and it's always interesting to see one from years ago, so that's my gift to whoever finds it, years from now.
