...... tbh, I don't really like the new look. Too slouchy and the colours are really, really flat. In other words, boring. All of their other concepts have been either very dynamic or very sharp, clean lines -- even yumemiru tsubasa. This, on the other hand is completely underwhelming. A little more mature, maybe.

But everything else is lovely; Haruna's new hair colour comes out well and their hair and makeup is very pretty, as usual.

It's those horrible ear piercings that ruin this for me. If she brushed her hair over her ears it would have been better.

Well, it's disappointing that it's not a Rolling Stones cover as in I would've liked to see their take on the song. Even so, it's not bad at all, it has that Summer feeling. It's clearly a song that will work better live.

It's called posing

I think Tomomi looks great in this pic. The one in awkward position is actually Rina. I know she likes nail arts and all, but fact is, her fingers are not long. The camera angle actually make her right hand's fingers look quite fat.

The uniforms are quite nice. It's like a transition from high school to university look. The setting is subtle, I like it.

Good thing they haven't tried in-your-face red lipstick like Taylor Swift yet. It's just awful.

Listening to it a second time the song would be much better if it was a straight up rocker. Lose the synths and pop attributes and crank up the guitars and you'd have something more palatable to my tastes and in keeping with SCANDAL's rock roots which I'm sure attracted most of us to them in the first place. Otherwise this is anodyne at best for me.

I did it. I ordered Haruka type A + Best SCANDAL CD (Regular) + Sachi Tainaka's "Love X Best" from CDjapan. Set me back $90+

And I retract my previous statement after watching the PV.

Although it looks flat in RL, the lighting makes a difference in PV land lolol and there's a good use of colour which gives it a kind of dream-like feel. It seems more ... 'feminine' (in that traditional sense of the word), and I like that lol.
