I know Sayashi is very talented, but it feels sad to see Risa pushed to the back yet again even when she's soon to be the new leader...

^I feel sorry for Risa too, but the truth is, Ai is actually an aberration when it comes to being centre and leader at the same time. Previous leaders generally do not take the central role (Nakazawa, Iida, Yossi -- I'm leaving out the others -- all of them tended to be back in the background). With Ai, she was already in the midst of things when she took on the role of leader, so yeah.

Though I must say, Risa deserves to take a more central role. Lord knows she has worked hard enough, and she is very solid performance-wise. Regardless of how I might personally feel about her (she's not my favorite, and is unlikely to ever be), I think she really does deserve more than what she gets.

But it doesn't surprise me that Riho gets pushed to the front. In a way, it makes sense -- they need to establish one of the younger ones as a semi-permanent fixture where it counts, since graduation might still come to any one of the senpai members in the discernable future. What interests me will be who takes over Ai's place once she leaves; if Risa gets passed over that as well, that's when everyone, fan of her or not, should get pissed.

I have this feeling Sayu is next in line for center...noooooooo!!!

Maybe eventually Riho & some 10th gen? The timing for the 10th gen audition announcement is a bit dodgy to me, it gives me this feeling they have an ace in a pocket or something. PROBABLY NOT, but I'm just suspicious

^Fukuchan seems to be relegated to support role (better than Kanon and Eripon, who look likely to be stuck as backdancers unless Tsunku decides to be nice). You're right, the timing of 10th gen does seem dodgy, and with the precedent of Fukuchan being elevated from Egg status, there's a distinct possibility that we might get another surprise promotion from those ranks.

Which could lead to a rounding up of the triumvirate with a 10th gen addition. Hm...

This B-side reminds me of Muten Musume.
The arrangement, instrumentation, heck even some of the lyrics are giving me that same kind of vibe.

I like how you can hear ALL the kyuukies in this one.
Sounds like it would make a crazy concert song.

PV is very cool! Simple, but cool. Focuses on their beauty and fierceness. keke

I really like the song too. The pacing takes some getting used to, but once you know where the changes come it's like oh yeah let's do this

Even if the song lines weren't very evenly split, I think the camera time was ok on the PV :3 And actually Sayumi stood out to me most, even if she didn't have many lines

Sayashi dances well but there are times when her shoulder area looks very stiff in the video? That may have something to do with the posture of youth though

I like the pv though the floating diamonds that had been editted in seemed a little tacky at times but that's just how I feel about it!

It makes me a little sad that Riho's been given more lines than most of the older girls- but atleast Gaki gets to open the chorus which is good as both the chorus and her singing voice are very strong, so it's well suited!
The only thing that really annoys me about the pv? Erina is shown singing a grand total of ~~ONCE~~ twice (lol that's not as bad...) ... >____< possibly fuku-chan too but I feel bad that Erina, Fuku and Zukki (thought seemed she had more screen time?) really got hidden out of the way in this song/video.

As normal I complain that not all members get a solo line (no matter how short), but I should just learn that that's just how it goes! D:

I love the song- but I'm a bit dissapointed with the pv/dance! D:

Omg!

The PV is so beautiful!!

Gaki's solo lines may be few of them but each them were so powerfull and beautiful it just made me squeal!

And Takahashi... So amazing~ She shows so much emotion in all of her solo lines!

The pv may be simple, the dance odd, and Riho has to many solos that the other kyuukies deserve but.... It's still so amazing I can't help but love it.
