Good luck  :w00t:
But are the oldest singles still available?
I was missing Piriri to Yukou! and yesasia says out of stock as well as cdjapan (at least about two months ago XD)
I'm glad I found one copy in Japan in a store :x

Your mother is right :D I'm thinking the same about my collection, but I wouldn't want to give my CDs and DVDs away for the money I spend on the other hand. I like having their stuff better, at the moment. I hope I never regret it XD

Oh, you're right Piriri & Fighting Pose is out of print! That sucks... but there's always one way or another to get them, right? I'm seriously planing on going to Japan in the future and then I'm definetly going to a H!P store! (Although I read somewhere you have to fill in a form or something? o__O), I'll just buy them then. They've got to be somewhere in Japan, right? :p

And I'll pretend I didn't read that last part.  :mon sweat:

hehehe :D

It really sucks :S they aren't even disbanded or THAT old but already out of stock...
But yeah, I think there is always a way to get them. Even though I don't think they sell old singles at H!P Stores. I only saw new releases and a list with Photobooks (also older ones but some sold out) and maybe some CDs or DVDs on it in H!P Stores in Tokyo.
Still no problem because there are tons of second hand shops and some stores with new CDs (Towerrecords, HMV, ISHIMARU..) and for example I found the Piriri to Yukou! single at ISHIMARU in Akihabara but I think it was the last one and didn't find it in second hand stores before. But I'm sure there are still some out there, you just have to look at some more stores to find them.
Most stores even sold like Berryz Koubou 3rd Album limited box (which is also sold out at most online stores) and MM early single box etc.

I suggest also to buy older ones now instead of only new ones in case more are going to be out of stock, no need to panic but you can save some trouble searching them in Japan later :D

Oh man, how am I going to find my way in Japan? I'm getting pretty good on romaji sure, but I know zenzen about kanji. >__<

But thanks for the tip, next shopping will be either Anata nashi dewa ikite yukenai + new single or Anata Nash~ + Happiness ~Kofuku Kangei!~.
Still want all the singles before the albums, so 1st Cho Berryz will have to wait, although I'll probably will have to pay for that eventually. :/

If you just stay in Tokyo or any other big city like Osaka it's pretty easy to find your way imho.
Getting a romanized metro map before going there is recommended (download and printable) as well as shop and other locations.
But if you take a notebook with you, you can store stuff there or do research via it or go into an internet cafe and look for locations there. No need for Kanji (except for the Kanji of some H!P member maybe :D) but knowing Hiragana and Katakana is an advantage in quite some cases. Of course it's good to know Kanji as well, but you can survive without knowing them or only a very few of them.
Btw. I just updated my H!P shopping guide with a description of how to buy stuff in H!P stores.

Yeah I'd get some singles first too, easier to get the albums since there aren't many :D

Oh crap nach ! you got the latest blt with THE awesome pic of captain !!!! aaaaa

lucky...

i was thinking about the singles collection too once lol
but my reason just told me NO
wordy would probably tell you i got the money but hey i just don't want to spend too much money on CDs that i would probably never listen to XD
just like the Aa!, Anata[...] and the other XD just putting them on my desk like...well...pic in frame lol... just feel like they are so fragile...just don't want to open them and a dust would scratch them XD...
i've already said i'm hopeless...
that's why also i was reluctant but still thinking about getting a tshirt of miya...
i would probably never wear it and hang it on the wall XD

ehh, yeah, well... I was looking around the bk pic thread last night and saw that tama posted those scans already. Whatever :s I just wanted to post something Berryz related XD

I'm a freak like you when it comes to CDs etc. :s
I don't want a single scratch on them, not even on the case. My brother tends to make fun of me because I treat them like raw eggs most of the time. You know... I even covered the top of them in my shelf to avoid dust falling on them XD
But you have to realize that it's natural for almost everything get older and therefor slowly change it's appearance unless you have a room/box with a perfect temperature, no dust in it (like vacuum), no sun etc. etc. :<
but I'm not crazy like that because of Berryz Koubou, I already shrink-wrapped some of my Manga when I was still collecting them. Yes, I'm a collector at heart.
So yeah... I know I can't keep my CDs and DVDs like new forever and sadly most but not all cases do even have some very small scratches you may see with the right light etc. but I do my best to protect them in my chaos :D
I originally started buying H!P stuff to support them in some way since I liked what they do. End of the story is that I became Beriwota and therefore put focus on buying their stuff o/ and I started to hardly listen to songs I didn't buy so there is still somewhat of a reason to buy the singles for me (besides having the case/cd and sometimes free goodies or limited edition stuff).

I also don't want to wear their t-shirts, I'm afraid their logos might vanish after some washes :/ I'm buying almost everything I want to use twice because of that (e.g. momo's t-shirt, mouspad)

But anyway, you could still buy singles you like most, no need to buy all only for the sake of it. Or buy an album to get more songs at once.

Haha, my bro said i was crazy to buy them lol
well i would probably never listen to the cds since i listen to the mp3 i dlded XD
and for the same reason as you i only bought them for collection XD
it's like the mangas me and my bro buy, he doesn't even read them, just collecting XD
also i like collecting stuff...i collect enveloppe, paper, pen...all kind of office stuff XD
so that's why i thought about collecting their singles...
also just like you, i wanted to support them... but seeing how the wotas buy 20 of the same cd i guess they don't really need me XD

what would be good for me to buy one of their album is that i love all the songs, and that the covers are great for me.
it's not the case yet XD
same for a single...
if i like the cover and the songs on it i would probably buy it now...
still not the case XD
i bought VeryBeauty because there were limited versions
i bought Kokuhaku because of the covers and the jars XD all of them are diff colors lol....
i bought Anata because well i just love it and it was their first single

now to think of it, Special gen is like one of the best single, both songs are so great, but too sad the cover, i don't like it XD
and since i only buy cds to let them on a bookcase well...
mmm
well i could have bought Piriri to Yukou! because it's blue, but i don't like the songs on it that much
Koi no Jubaku because i love the song and the outfit, but... there is not but...why i don't have it XD
Nanchuu because it's blue too XD,
Cinderella, the song is great but i don't like the cover XD

well so many reasons i'm torturing myself about buying and not buying their singles....

I really wish there were Berryz skits in the style of haromoni gekijous.
They could even be totally derivative and it would work.
Like Yurina in a bear suit, Momoko as a pyon seijin, Saki Usuko, Chinami's world joke show, Francisco Miyabieru, Sugaya Monroe and Shirayuri Maasa... or Maasa being hilarious doing any darn thing

I had my first Berryz dream. XD

But it wasn't exactly them in it- just their merchandise after making it big. XD

Apparently they became so famous that a Nintendo DS came in each individuals color, the only ones I can remember are Yurina in orange, Miyabi in some sort of beige, Risako or Momoko in Red, and of course Maasa in blue.

There was also some sort of blue box in the room with Maasa on it, but I can't remember what the item was. <_<;
