It's a real Hello Kitty Hard Drive, made by Hello Kitty's little fluffy pawns, and it's pink outside, and it's pink inside, and everytime you write some data on it, there are lotsa little pink hearts that come out of the enclosure...

I'm getting paranoid here because I have a feeling I have a virus but no anti-virus to help me!

I'm pretty sure AVG free is still free.
They did change version to 7.5 around the end of last year and that brought up a message on all the old versions that looked like you had to buy the new one when really you didn't have to. Try uninstalling whatever current version you have and download and install this.
