Anyway, here is my first stab at an RP here. I decided to go with your generic High School scenario to start with. The details are listed below.
Please, before posting please attach a bio of the character you want to play. Bio must include a brief description, background and history. And also, please, please, please make your posts more than a single paragraph long and no power-playing. I strive to write detailed, grammatically correct posts and expect the same treatment from others. And if you have to speak out of character, please put in a form like this (OOC: *fill in here*). Or something similar.Scenario: Osaka, Japan. Osaka High School. A prestigious private school with a sprawling campus in the heart of Osaka. Kawachi Nami, Wakamatsu Asahi and Otawa Hinata are part of the Federal Witness Protection program after having witnessed the gruesome murder of a man at the hands of the Yakuza. Separated from their families and desperate for a some sense of normalcy in their lives they convinced their case handler to let them attend their last year of high school out in the open. To meet this end, they have to disguise themselves as boys and attend without rousing the suspicions of the Yakuza who prowl the country looking for any trace of the missing girls.

Despite her flighty, devil-may-care attitude, Hinata is actually very intelligent and considers school a simple annoyance she has to get through so she can spend more time doing what she loves best. Singing, dancing, and making and dressing up in Lolita costumes. Under her parents nose she has been going to Idol auditions to test the waters of a possible career. Morning fog hung close to the earth, stirred up by the blurred shadows of students making their way in and out of the school's main building.
"Where the hell are they...?"
The short young man felt uneasy, like the unfortunate teenager that was about to have his head cut off by a chain-saw murderer, or be eaten alive by a deranged mutant dog. He lingered beside a nearby bench and took a deep breath, adjusting his uniform for what must have been the fiftieth time since he left home.
"Yo Kai!"
The boy almost jumped out of his skin when he felt a hand seem to materialize out of thin air and grab his shoulder. He immediately whirled around and glared ruefully at its owner, a tall boy with black, red streaked hair who smirked down at him in amusement.
"Jesus Christ Riku!" Kai growled out, clenching his fists as he fought down the anxiety in his stomach. "You almost scared me spitless!"
"I wouldn't say spitless..." A boy with black hair boldly highlighted with blue streaks grumbled from beside Riku, grabbing a handkerchief from the breast pocket of his school uniform and delicately wiping his face. "Say it don't spray it
Kai."
"I did NOT spit on you, take that back!" Kai exclaimed, a bit red-faced as Kuu stuck his tongue out at him.
Riku rolled his eyes at the two, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a sucker, unwrapping it and immediately popping the fruit flavored candy in his mouth. He moved to sit on the bench, setting his leather book bag beside him as he motioned for Kai and Kuu to join him.
"It's our first day, why don't you
boys try to settle down a bit before you draw in too much attention?" Riku said flippantly, swirling the tiny stick in slow circles around his lips.
"Why I'd be delighted to kind
sir!" Kuu chirped happily, sidling up to Riku like an affectionate puppy. The taller boy huffed and pushed Kuu's head away from him playfully.
Kuu pouted a bit at that. "If Kai wasn't so grouchy it'd be easier of course..."
"Why wouldn't I be grouchy? I'm wearing a freaking
gakuran to school." Kai sighed in irritation, his brows furrowed deeply as he finally settled onto the bench, unceremoniously tossing his satchel next to his feet. "But you're right Riku... I suppose it's just the nerves is all..." He muttered lowly. As much as he hated to admit it, his friend was right. The last thing they needed was to draw in attention. They were on the run after all.
"But isn't dressing up a least a 'little' fun?" Kuu said, nudging Kai's shoulder teasingly. "I mean, at least the disguises look cool!"
"Hush you two, you're talking too loud." Riku chided, a bit caught up in his own thoughts but brought into the conversation by the word 'disguises'. He glared at them a bit in annoyance, pulling the sucker from his mouth. "Do you
really want to draw unwanted attention on our first day here?"
Kai and Kuu both hung their heads, chagrined. "Sorry..." They chorused quietly, knowing that Riku, as usual, had a point.
In reality, the three boys weren't even really boys. Their true names, Kai, Kuu, and Riku respectively that is, were Kawachi Nami, Otawa Hinata, and Wakamatsu Asahi.
A few months before, they had witnessed a horrible crime while departing an idol audition that they had all conjointly failed. A group of gangsters had been harassing a man in the studio's parking garage over something in his hand and the man had turned tail and run. Before he even made it a couple feet one of the gangsters pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and unloaded the entire clip into the unfortunate man's back. The girls, who had just stepped out the door, saw the scene transpire before them with wide eyes. The gangsters immediately gave chase but miraculously the girls had escaped by disguising themselves as men and leaving the building. Unfortunately, the thugs that were after them were connected to the Yakuza and had easily managed to gather enough information about them to track down their homes. After a few terrifying instances where their windows had been shot through and their homes vandalized they had finally called the police and were put into the Federal Witness Protection program. Unfortunately, since the gangsters knew their faces and true identities, they had each had to assume whole new persona as a man. Or rather, high school age boy.
They had all felt nervous about coming all the way out to Osaka for school, but they were all in their senior year and wanted to graduate normally and so had implored their handler to let them finish in a normal institution. The woman had at first been unwilling to let them go out in public so soon but had realized that the girls, who had been through a lot already, could use some semblance of normalcy in their upside down existence. They hadn't asked for all this after all.
However, the conditions for which they had to start school were ridiculous at best.
They had all had to agree to keep up their boyish disguises for the entire tenure of their stay at Osaka High School. It had been an almost impossible request, but with the help of professional make-up artists enlisted by the program they had all managed to at least look the part.
Kai, although short, looked every inch the school's delinquent bad boy. Windswept blonde hair fell over flashing light brown eyes and his black gakuran was worn with the top two buttons carelessly undone. But perhaps the most remarkable thing about him was his swagger. That easy confidence that radiated from the way that the boy carried himself.
Kuu looked like the consummate boy next door. He was taller than Kai and had an easy smile and slender build that epitomized a charming high school age boy that had not quite grown into his body yet. His black, blue streaked hair was cut short in the back and tapered upwards to fall into long, flowing pieces that framed his heart shaped face perfectly.
Riku, ever the level-headed professional, looked clean cut in appearance and demeanor. His uniform, pressed with care, had barely a spot of lint and his leather shoes were brushed with black polish. Perfectly coifed raven, red high lighted hair fell over a somber, yet handsome face adorned with black rimmed glasses. He didn't actually need them, but his disguise coordinator had thought that it would make him less easy to be recognized.
Sighing, Kai buried his face in his palm, rubbing his forehead as he felt the beginnings of a head ache start to form. "So when does class start anyway?" He grumbled, resting his elbow on his lap.
Kuu pulled an itinerary out of his book bag and looked at it curiously. "It seems we're still about a half-hour early... But first period is college algebra." He said, grinning a bit, math was one of his best subjects.
Kai huffed in annoyance, glowering slightly. "Really? I friggin' hate math..."
