I picked the lock to get into the Temple of Dibella hoping that I would get to spy on them performing some secret sex ritual where they rub magic potions all over each other. The followers were just chanting (Fully clothed :( ) and they spotted me. When talk of punishment came up, I thought maybe a spanking or being stripped and forced to walk the streets of Markarth, but no, they wanted me to find some girl.

Really? I did it and they were all naked and were very happy to see me.

....Well ok, not really, I had the same experience as you. Wonder if it's different if you're a female character :nervous That was a cool quest cause it's been the first quest I've done so far where the reward is a permanent buff to your character (i.e. dealing more damage to members of the opposite sex). Funny thing is that quest reused a dungeon I already did for the quest for Molag Bal, so for me it was a clean walkthrough an empty fortress to find the girl.

So I decided I spent enough time in the Reach. For now at least. There are areas yet explored (a lot despite me spending 20 hrs in and around there :nervous) and the Forsworn are still a thorn in my side so I will return at some point. But I thought it might be better to venture off to another capital city and see what awaits me, so with that in mind, I went far up north to see Winterhold and join the Mages Guild. After all, I've put it off after 60hrs of playtime now as well as the Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood. Hell I haven't even done much Companion guild quests yet. :o Bought a bunch of higher level destruction magic spells which is great. Done the first introductory stuff already, now I'm just gonna explore around that area a bit.

Dumb question, is there a fast travel option like clicking on the map or warp gates or do you have to go everywhere by foot/hon horse?

There is a fast travel option! You can't fast travel to any places you haven't discovered yet but once you do, you can just open up you map, select it and fast travel no problem. There are also horse carriages at the gates of each major city that operate pretty much like fast travel as they can take you to any other city which can save you the time travelling on foot.

I successfully completed the theft at the Temple of Dibella some time ago. I really liked it for the "lol" moment I experienced. As I was leaving the room where the statue was located, a priestess walked in. I was off to the side crouching, and thought I was quite visible in her line of vision. Anyways, all I was thought was "crap, I'm done", but she just kept walking, and I wasn't detected! I didn't know my sneak was that high.   I later went back to purposely get caught (for the other quest.)

I also got a little freaked out by head priestess. She appeared to look a bit taller than other NPCs (to me at least). She was walking back and forth in the room...it just really creeped me out. I thought she was gonna kill me.

Best kill yet in Skyrim tonight. That Falmer got one of my arrows right through his neck, pinning him to the camp. :)

Did an interesting quest for one of the Daedric princes, Namira. It started off by a priest of Arkay asking me to investigate a crypt in Markarth who found several bodies had been eaten. Turns out it was a woman who was eating them and she said she had wanted me to join. She said she would leave if I could clear out a cavern full of Draugr for her so I did. What I didn't realise was that clearing the cave puts you on the path to worship Namira, which meant joining her little cannibal clan. I just wanted her out of the crupt. To follow on from that the woman now wanted to bring the priest to her to be killed and eaten for a feast for her, me and the rest of the clan she knows. So I brought him back under false pretenses and she used magic on him to lay him down on the altar as a sacrifice. Turns out the rest of the cannibal cult included several people from Markarth that I had known and had done quests for. Like the shopkeeper who asked me to bring back a stolen statue for her that belonged to her husband, or the owner of the dog stables who I had to deliver spiced beef to the Jarl for ("Now you know what I spiced it with" he told me). So the only option I was given was to kill the priest, as there was no dialogue to reject it. So I saved it, did it and then had to feed on his corpse (luckily no cutscene) just to see what the reward was (a ring that restored health and stamina if I feed upon corpses.) but it wasn't worth it, so I reloaded the save and killed the whole cannibal clan instead. What was interesting was that the priest also gave me a different reward as a result. Doing it my way failed the quest but whatever, Timeon Waters is not a cannibal.

Also I think Lydia is fucking with me. Like recently we went in and cleared out a cave and when we emerged she said "Ooh a cave. I wonder what's inside." Really?

Oh and also, I got all three words for Unrelenting Force. Holy crap that shout is just so much fun to use.

I haven't played in a while because after about an hour of exploring I died. Losing a lot of progress always makes me stop playing a game. I picked it up recently. After making it out of a difficult dungeon, I found the second part of the Whirlwind Sprint shout and had to fight a Volsung(?) that killed me quickly the first time. I was a little more prepared the second time, so I managed to kill him. I've been a little bored just casting spells so I grabbed a shield, mace, and greatsword that I was planning to enchant and then sell. I've been having a lot of fun with the greatsword lately. I think I may go back to using a sword and shield soon though.

To celebrate the opening of the Steam Workshop for Skyrim, Valve and Bethesda have teamed up to bring you the Portal 2 Space Core mod, which will let the aggressively space-centric little robot tag along on your adventures in Tamriel.

Also, since Skyrim was the only major release of 2011 without Nolan North in it, you should consider this mod a patch to fix that problem. You can now feel free to include Skyrim in the "Nolan North" section of your video game library, which is to say, your video game library.

In the process of downloading a fairly massive patch. Might be worth another play through to see what's changed.

Here are some proof of concept stuff that Bethesda made for the game in a week and decided to show off. Has the potential to be stuff featured in future DLC but for now it's just experiments. But I want all of it! :w00t: :w00t:

Wow, a lot of those ideas looked fun and good. Just makes me wonder how some of those things didn't appear in Skyrim in the first place.

And I would adopt a kid as well. Already have one in mind. XD

Just came out of the longest dungeon crawl in the game. I could swear it took me close to 2 hours to get through it all. Rewarding though, I got a sweet shield out of it as a reward (the Peryite Daedric questif you're wondering). Had an epic moment where 3 enemies were running for me when I just FUS RO DAH'd them bitches over the edge and plummet to their death. Also unlocked a perk that allows me to randomly decapitate enemies with my one handed weapon! It's how I killed the boss in that dungeon, FUCK YES.

I've gotten back into this game again and I'm trying out some mods this time. I've got ridiculously high resolution textures and it looks beautiful. My favourite thing about this game is the silly stuff like this which I recorded:

Go to 40 seconds in.

That's messed up Shi! I want the cute one back!

Ever since I enchanted an Ebony Sword to have the paralyze effect it almost feels like cheating. Enemies just fall over and I keep hitting them, stacking the effect over and over with each hit until they're dead. Don't recall any heroic escapades from Timeon Waters lately, he's just chillin, doing quests for the Mages Guild and continuing to be an an all round fantasy badass. I also gave Lydia 2 lightning staffs which she has been rocking in combat at the same time. Just because.
