I have an idea for the next podcast, whenever it may be:

H!P drinking game
For each podcast, we pick one group/soloist/member/what have you and brainstorm the drinking conditions. (Take a sip if Yossie's a pimp, if Momoko annoys someone, if there's a Kappa!Airi reference, etc.)
Then we have an interactive portion and play. (Like a DVD Magazine, Hello Morning excerpt, concert performance, or something)
We don't necessarily have to actually drink, but the interactive portion would be more about just pointing out the drinking game conditions for that video.
It's kind of like making a dictionary of H!P memes.
We might even link it back to fanfic with a fanon drinking game!

So, with the groups C-ute and BK pretty well shredded how do you reshuffle the deck for a new look for h!p?

I have an idea for a new corner, but I like to talk about it hear first just in case no one has any interest:

The corner would be Anime with Idol Singer themes.

We could discuss some anime from the perspective of how the characters are doing as idol singers, or just make fun of the anime in general.

We could also try to do a watch along if the anime is on youtube or veoh.

Any interest?

Finally caught up with listening... and that's not how you play FMK!!

it's like say: Yuko, Kaorin, Nacchi- you gotta pick one for each. You put people into dilemmas by picking the right combinations.
To make it difficult for people with biases, you can ask (bee's everlasting nightmare)- Rika, Aichan, Eri
or to play on a different kinda bias: Manoeri, Koharu, name randomEgg (who to kill, who to kill?)

With everyone in HP, past and present (and graduated)- imagine the possibilities.

Just do like a set of three groups so it won't drag on forever.

I dunno, resop, those anime tend to be uber-slow paced. I tried watching K-ON! once upon a time and couldn't get through it, this coming from someone who labored through and on-and-off enjoyed Beck:MCS. Slice-of-life is not my tea, and imo would be tedious to use as an interactive. Maybe if they were specific clips of important plot points/performances it could work?
It could be interesting to discuss why "Idol Singer" is a genre in anime if it already exists "in real life", and how idol culture and anime feed off of each other in a giant orgy of Kawaii. Like Shokotan!

I was wondering, what are you using to record these podcasts? Are you able to use headphones, or do you have to play it through your speakers and then record it?

I use a program that records directly from Skype. The program records myself in one channel and everyone else in the other channel so I have to correct things during editing.

Speaking of which, when does everyone want to do the next podcast?
