Finished up Control, okay watch but nothing really special, good acting and the last few episodes were good but a bit too predictable and most of the plots were so-so.... 7.5/10.
Now on to this one, watched the first episode and have a feeling this is going to be a real winner,  Dare Yori mo Mama wo Aisu. :yossi:

Finished up Dare Yori mo Mama wo Aisu, going in didn't have high expectations but it ended up being a superb show. Rather light hearted but also got quite serious and a bit dark at times, gotta rate that one a 9/10. :thumbsup
Now on to this one, Hatachi no Koibito.

^^ That ended up being a disappointment, :( just dragged and dragged, so now....

.... on to this one, School, zipped thru the first 3 episodes it was so good, Eguchi's dramas are usually solid ones to view but plus it also stars: :thumbsup

She's a real stickler for that in the show.

^^ Really enjoying the School!! drama, only up to episode 6 because there's only 9 episodes, don't want to see it end, Kie and Eguchi make for a funny combo in it. :shocked

Stretching that one out left me with some extra time so doing probably my 4th watch of the second season of this. :)

First episode of 11 Nin mo Iru!, only started last Friday, too early to give an opinion on it but needed to see the new Ryoko. :thumbsup

Also watching this then, was brain dead figuring out what next to watch, settled for an old standby, least the 5th time I've viewed this. :O

Currently watching these.... Kaseifu no Mita, it's still on the air, viewed the first 3 episodes and it's lookin' to be the top drama of the year, wow, now this is a must watch. 8)

Just started this today, Don Quixote, okay for the first 2 episodes but it's gonna be hard to carry this storyline for 11 episodes. :sweatdrop:

early check from this season (most interested to least again):
Kaseifu no Mita ep01 - Totally agree. It's like GTO x Haken no Hinkaku. :thumbsup NG scenes from this is going to be epic.
Tsukahara Bokuden ep01-04 - Sengoku drama, about a legendary swordsman challenging people all over japan. Fight scenes remind me of an old kendo anime I watched when I was a kid. :)
Kaito Royale ep00-01 - Midnight drama, so I don't expect it being popular. But the 1st episode was pretty exciting. And I want to see if Matsuzaka Tori keeps getting better (I thought he was really good-looking in Shinkenger. Reminded me of TVB's 林峯. Just didn't expect him landing so many cool roles so quickly)
Youkai Ningen Bem ep01-02 - Watched the anime. Basically the same thing with more emotional "i want to be human" scenes.

Boku to Star no 99 Nichi ep01 - Korean star + bodyguard romance comedy. It's pretty funny. If the comedy was done smarter it would've been better (now it's more like, I know what's gonna happen in the next 5 minutes jokes that make you cringe a little).
HUNTER ep01 - Interesting theme. Still don't know if I really like it though.

Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de ep01-02 - Feels like 33pun Tantei with its slapstick mystery (I don't really like this style). I actually fell asleep watching the first episode... :P
Ore no Sora - Keiji Hen ep01 - Richie Rich! Wait, is there a live movie of that yet?
Doctors - Just another hospital drama.
Nankyoku Tairiku ep01-02 - Fast forwarded it, still felt boring. ;)

Still have Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu and Pandora 3 to watch. Both I'm pretty sure I'll like.

Has anyone been watching 11 nin mo iru? It's actually quite a good slice of life type drama. It follows a huge poor family and the issues they have to deal with.

Natozoki wa dinner no atode was one that I was really looking forward to this season but I'm actually pretty disappointed in it. The set up is actually kind of dull and slow.

Gonna take a short break on the dramas still airing, hate waiting a week to watch the next episode. :sweatdrop: Don Quixote is turning out to be a good watch, started out slowly but is getting better with each episode, most things that Shota does turn out well. :) Mahiru Konno is an underrated actress, :( enjoying her in DQ a lot, so much looked for a show that she's got a big part in, found one, Moso Shimai/Paranoid Sisters, so good watched the first 4 episodes without moving an inch. :?

Finished up Don Quixote, nothing special but it was an okay watch, though 11 episodes seemed to end too quickly, good job by Shota, he usually does do a good job. :)
Now on to this one, no reason why, knew nothing about it but seems like it'll be a fun watch. :nervous

Just finished last two episodes of 2010 drama "Tumbling" (episodes 10 & 11)....started it a while ago, but for some reason stopped after 9 episodes.
It was a good series about a team of misfits who form a boys high school tumbling team (rhythm gymnastics), with  leads Yusuke Yamamoto and Koji Seto turning in solid performances. Azusa Okamoto and Rei Okamoto were especially luverly in supporting roles, and Exile member Akira shed buckets of manly tears in his role as club advisor.
Some great individual episodes giving each main member of the team a chance to take the dramatic lead, and a stirring conflict towards the end. Theme song is "Manazashi" by a male duo called Honey L Days.

Here is a bloopers clip from the series , with thanks to YouTube poster geloxkie:

Finished up Moso Shimai/Paranoid Sisters, though for the most part it was just average it was a real enjoyable view, if you like quirky and strange ones then this would be right up your alley. It's about 3 sisters who one day find a letter from the dead father to them, he tells them to read some books that he picked out so they can finally know him a bit more, plus the books will hold the clues to his death for they don't know how he died. :O Cast is superb, popular actresses but not real popular, nice to see them all have a huge, starring role in a drama. :)

^^ Really liked it too, wish it was longer than 7 episodes. Much more serious than I thought it would be, especially episode 6, haven't stopped crying since I finished it. :sweatdrop:  :sweatdrop:
