SCANDAL will be releasing their 3rd DVD - titled VIDEO ACTION on both DVD and BluRay on September 28th 2011!

Wow, that's fast. Interesting to know what content it holds. I doubt it a live DVD. They haven't got enough new materials yet. Do you know if Japanese Blu-ray disc is region free? I'd love to buy their first 2 live DVDs but the Region-2 was the obstacle.

1. According to CDJ it's region fee

2. Also note that the regions/zones for DVDs and Blu-rays are different. For example, Japanese DVDs (region 2) play fine in Europe, but Japanese Blu-rays (Zone A) don't work in Europe (Zone B).

Not here in the UK they don't (unless you have a multi-regional DVD player)...

Yes we both share the same region but here in the UK we run on PAL system while Japan uses NTSC the same as in the US. Even though UK players can play NTSC DVDs for some region those made in Japan aren't compatible.

That is really strange. First time I heard about that. I mean, here in the NL we use PAL too, but I never had any problem playing NTSC DVDs.

Aw well! The internet, blu-ray and streaming era is upon us, so we'll get to view Scandal somehow

According to CDJapan, it's a collection of 14 music video collectiom plus a bonus video. I somehow think this won't be a PV collection. The price is damn steep! I have to wait and see what kind of first-press bonus they offer before forking out my dollars.

If I decide to buy, it'll be the Blu-ray, even though I don't have the player yet

It's strange that, although SCANDAL are aiming to reach international market, they still release their DVDs in R-2. EPIC FAIL.... for both them and EPIC Japan.

...but they announced it as a PV collection dvd! The price is normal for Japanese entertainment DVDs.

The "Best Scandal" DVD Version included 7 PVs... including some of which will also be on this dvd. So basically you're paying 3800 for 10ish PVs with maybe some extras. In addition, the latest PVs haven't been all that great (with some exceptions of course)...

So yeah, I won't be buying this release.

. I normally hate rap music, but the music they have here is pretty fast pace and catchy, and of course, it's Tomomi's rapping

I don't have a Bluray player yet, and given the R2 restriction, I have to weigh carefully if I want to actually buy this title

Seems like they just put the whole MV together for fun. I paid for the BD, but this MV is a disappointment (for now)

Yeah, quite wacky. probably too much for Haruna and Rina to make a cameo feature in this MV

But who would have thought they'd show this evil side of SCANDAL? Especially Mami. But, this MV confirms the awesomeness of Tomomi

btw, did anyone uploaded the iso? I bought my dvd copy via CDJapan, but chose the cheapest shipping method, it would be 2-3 weeks, i think.
