Fifth Story [Random Drabble] (Kojiyuu): The Squirrel and her Cat“Nyan-nyannnnnnnnnnnnnn!~” shouted Yuko from across the studio rehearsal room as she bolted full speed towards the tall cat-like girl who was silently leaning against the wall with a small smile on her face as she spread her arms and prepared to catch her flying squirrel. When she sensed that Yuko was nearing, Haruna walked a few steps forward before catching the small girl and wrapping her into an embrace and planting soft kisses on her forehead. The short brunette hummed with content as she leaned her head up to place kisses on the cat girl’s chin before tippy-toeing and connecting their lips in a sweet kiss.
“I missed you my squirrel”, whispered Haruna as she pulled away from the shorter girls lips and placed a soft kiss on the tip of her nose. The team K member giggled as listened to her girlfriend’s cheesiness and responded, “I missed you too nyan-nyan”. The two girls walked to the couch swinging their clasped hands back and forward ad they smiled at each other. The couple snuggled on the coach as they quietly enjoyed each other’s and talked about how their day went.
“Oi, Haruna! Do you want to go help me and Acchan take Miichan to the jewelry store so she pick an engagement ring and pop the big question to Mariko?” shouted the voice of team A’s captain Takahashi Minami as she peeked through the studio door and looked at the cuddling couple.
“Sure, can Yuko come?” questioned Haruna as she got up and pulled the shorter brunette up with her. Takamina only nodded in response and opened the door wider so the two girls could exit the room. When they had reached halfway down the hall they were greeted by a nervous looking Miichan who was being comforted by the ever-calm Acchan. The short captain walked over to the tall actress and back hugged her before whispering into her ear that she would take care of it. While the midget captain talked with the Gachapin look-a-like, Haruna’s mind flashed back to a memory of when she had had asked Yuko to be hers.
Flashback“How do I look?” questioned the tall cat girl as she looked towards Tomochin while giving her a look that said ‘does this outfit look good on me?’ The fashion queen gave a nod of approval before smiling at Kojiharu and saying that she had to go pick-up her Chiyuu. Shortly after Tomochin departed, Haruna looked at the ring box that sat at the palm of her hand. Earlier that day, she had asked Yuko to meet her on the rooftop later that night. The tall brunette had decorated the entire roof top and with help from her friends moved a table to the center where a table cloth was laid on top followed by a candle in the center and a bouquet of roses. Glancing at her watch she noticed that it was already 7 pm and dashed around to make last minute adjustments. The soft clacking of heels could be heard as Yuko opened the door that lead to the roof top and was greeted by a smiling Haruna at the center surrounded by dozens of lotus shaped lanterns hanging on lines.
“I know this is really cliché but I was wondering if you would let this tsundere make you mines forever? “ said Harunyan as she slowly knelt on one knee and held the roses up to Yuko while her other hand held the ring box. Tears slipped down the squirrels face as she took the roses and slid the ring onto her ring girl slid the other ring on to her Kojipa’s ring finger. Haruna smiled as she held Yuko closer and deepened the kiss before pulling away and leaning her forehead against the squirrels as they stared lovingly into each other’s eyes.
“I love you Oshima Yuko”, whispered the smiling Haruna as she held the shorter brunette even closer.
“I love you too Kojima Haruna”, replied the smiling squirrel who nuzzled her head in content against her lovers neck.End Flashback“Come on let’s get a move on”, shouted Takamina as she held Acchan’s hand with Miichan following from behind and headed towards the door. Haruna clasped hands with Yuko as the squirrel laid her head on the cats shoulder before began walking after the other girls.
