UARS Satellite falling to the Earth

The six-tonne, 20-year-old spacecraft has fallen out of orbit and is expected to crash somewhere on Earth on or around 24 September.
The US space agency says the risk to life from the Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS) is 1 in 3,200.
UARS could land anywhere between 57 degrees north and 57 degrees south of the equator - most of the populated world.
Nasa says that most of the satellite will break or burn up before reaching Earth.
But scientists have identified 26 separate pieces that could survive the fall through the atmosphere.
Please land on the Big Brother house. Or a Nickelback concert.

^ Interesting priorities there, my man...nevermind the corrupt politicians or murderous terrorists out there, I want this shit to land on some slightly annoying but otherwise benign entertainers!

My point still stands that there are worse people (heck, worse entertainers for that matter) out there to hope for this debris to fall on...though hoping it hits anyone really is kinda disturbing as it is.

Oh I agree with you 100%, there are people out there way more deserving to be hit with that. Oddly, the chances of having part of this debris landing or hitting you, is greater than winning the lottery.
