Earlier the Disney special collab with Arashi, AKB48, Perfume, et al, was quite the lively and entertaining piece.

And Momiro Clover, who will perform in second half, acted as dancer and background vocals for Enka singer Takashi Hosokawa,
a very fun performance.

It became some type of tradition for me to watch Kouhaku Utagassen in the New Year's Eve, first of all to see AKB's performance (obvious), but is always nice to see another artists and their songs.

Like the past years, is a pleasure to see AKB acting like backdancers or chorus to veteran artists. Through the years the AKB performance turned into something...big: too many members sharing the same stage. Sometimes I think they would come with something more simple, with less members in the AKB presentation, and let another members to join backdancing with another artists.
