Because I feel random today... >_____<;;
Have you ever experienced having a Pencil shoved up to your nose? Well, I have. And for sure, it didn’t feel as enlightening as one would think. Hell, who in the world would think that it’s enlightening anyway? Name one person and I’ll give you a hormone as a reward.
That aside.
Ever since that experience of mine, I came to hate them. Pencils, I mean. I still use them, yes, but I leave the sharpening to Unagi. Every single time I see that sharp object… I just can’t help but cringe from the images of me getting stabbed by it in the past…
The culprit of this traumatic experience of mine? Gekikara. Who know calls herself Amakuchi for some weird reason. It’s not like I hate herself for it… I mean, it was my fault for being aggressive to her first, but still, after that very day, I can’t help myself from avoiding her every time I see her. As embarrassing as it is for me to admit, I’m actually afraid of her. Avoiding her has become close to impossible now though… Why?
Because ever since Yuko’s batch graduated from our school, Team Hormone became Rappapa’s underlings. Why didn’t she graduate along with them anyway? She was on the same batch as them, right?
Well, there’s no use in sulking about that anymore…
“Hey, can you open the door for me?” Knowing that someone was bound to be inside the room in front of me, I called out idly while trying to hold the packs of hormones in my arms still. Hearing my call, Akicha opened the door and helped me in carrying some of it.
As soon as I placed the hormones down, though, I felt like slapping myself.
“Wota, look!” Unagi happily gesture her hand towards the girl sitting down beside her. No, more like the terror sitting down beside her while wearing a seemingly innocent smile just to fool little girls. “Amakuchi-san wants to try eating Hormones with us! It seems like she’s never eaten something close to meat… It was a real surprise when she told us about that.”
Right… So she doesn’t eat meat, then why on earth is she with us!?
Like hell I can ask that out loud though…
“A-Ah, I see…”
“Well, preparation’s ready! Let’s start our feast, shall we?” Bungee, who was in-charge of setting our grill, called out from the center of the room and called us closer. Everyone complied silently, and to my surprise, Amakuchi followed in silence too, looking like a kid who was about to try a Ferris wheel for a first time.
As for me… Well…
This…
This will be my first time eating hormones unhappily…
.
Soon, all of us devoured all the hormones I bought, and with that, I concluded that my dilemma was about to end. Or at least that’s what I wished…
To my dismay, though, after school, she began following me.
At first, I thought that she was just going towards the same way as I am, but after arriving Akihabara and walking out of the train station, I was sure that she was stalking me. Hell, she would even stop walking whenever I would!
Unable to keep my curiosity to myself anymore, I turned to her. She greeted me with a puzzled look in response. “You… You’re not following me… Are you?” I couldn’t think of a way that sounded less cruel than that.
But to my surprise, she nodded her head with a smile, “I am.” She said casually, as though it was the most common thing in the world! If only I could, I would have high-fived my forehead already. “Is something wrong with that?” With her seemingly innocent smile on, she titled her head to the side.
Well of course something is wrong with that!
You, who evilly poked my nose with a pencil, are stalking me! The poor victim! What is NOT wrong about that?!
“Ah… No… Nothing’s wrong…” But then again, it’s not like I can say that out loud.
Sighing to myself, I turned back to the direction I was heading and continued on walking. If she wants to follow me then fine, I’m not going to miss the special performance in the maid café I usually go to just because of her.
“It sure is crowded here…” She said as she finally managed to walk by my side, her eyes scanning everywhere around us. Is this her first time coming here?
Sighing once again, I reluctantly nodded my head and gave her a reply, “Yep… It is, that’s why you better try your best not to get lost. Akihabara is a big place, so if you’re not that familiar about it, you’re bound to take forever to find the train station again… Believe me, I’ve experienced that…”
“Ah… That sure sounds tough…”
“Mhmm…”
… Wait, why am I even talking with her so casually like this?
“So where are we heading?”
The fact that she slightly moved closer to me gave me chills down to my spine. Just imagine, the scariest Yankee, walking with only a few inches away from you…
Wait. WE?
“I’m… heading to a maid café right now…” I hastened my pace a little and so did she.
“Can I go with you?”
Hearing that, I immediately halted on my tracks, slowly turning my head towards her only to see her innocent smile on her face once again. Damn that smile.
“Sure…?”
“Thank you!”
Once again, I felt like shivering upon hearing those words. Why on earth is she acting so friendly right now of all times..? Is this her way of torturing me? Ah. She must have known that I’m afraid of her, and now she’s trying to kill me emotionally by doing this… I must say, she’s one evil girl alright…
Finally, both of us arrived at the maid café. And again, she looked like she was an excited little kid.
“Welcome!”
I could almost feel my face turning to red as soon as I heard her let out an ‘Ooh’ as soon as the maid greeted us. She really is acting like a kid…
Not wanting to catch anymore attention than that, I hurriedly told the said maid to bring us to a table for two.
After both of us settled down on our seats, the maid asked for us what we would like to order, and in an instant, Gekikara’s once cheerful smile slowly turned into a frown. Is something the matter, I wonder?
“We’ll take our orders later.” I smiled at the maid a little. Returning a smile to me as well, she finally walked away, leaving me alone with the now clearly troubled queen. Sighing to myself for the nth time of the day, I decided to once again strike a conversation, “Is something the matter, Gek- Amakuchi-san…?”
She slowly lifted her head up and looked at me for a second before shifting her eyes away again, with her frown growing a little. “You see… I…”
“You…?”
“I have no money for me to take orders…”
Ah…
Then what do you usually do to buy food? Beat the crap out of the restaurant’s manager?
…No- Wait- Be friendly, Wota!
“A-Ah, then… I’ll pay for you… Just for now…”
“Really?” Her face finally lightened up once again. A kid. She’s a kid in heart, I tell you! Though she still looks scary nonetheless…
“Un… Really…”
As though she heard that I would pay for Gekikara, the maid came to us once again, ready to take our orders. I was about to take mine, but before I could, Gekikara snatched the menu from my hand and began pointing at random foods in the list. Wait… That many?!
“Rice Omelet, please, and also some veggies and… Do you serve melon pan here?”
“Yes Ma’am.”
“Then that’s all.” Smiling at the maid as though she was an ordinary school girl, Gekikara handed the Menu back to her, and without even asking for what it is that I wanted to order or at least listening to what I was about to say, the maid walked away from us.
… My money…
“Wota…”
I slowly turned my head to her, unable to hide my frown in anymore.
“Thank you.”
Hearing her ‘sweet’ thank you once again, I smiled at her a little.
…This is going to be hell…
Should I continue, I wonder? xD
