Chapter 7 : One Perfect Model-When the school finished-
Kojima Haruna was waiting for her cousin in front of school gate. It was a usual thing for them to going home together.
“Kojima-san?” A female greeted Haruna.
“Yes?” Haruna looked at that female. She never met that person before.
“I’m Oshima Mai.”
“Oshima?”
“I’m Yuu’s older sister”
“Aahhh..”
“Yuu’ve told me everything. I’m sorry for what my brother did to you. He kept persisted to make you his model. Geez that boy. If he wants something, he will try his best to get it.”
“No problem, Oshima-san”
“Can we talk for minute? I mean..not here..Maybe in that café..It’s my treat” Mai pointed at a cafe across the school.
Haruna thought for a while. Well, that’s not a bad idea. She had waited Rino for more than half an hour. Based on first impression, Haruna thought that Oshima Mai was a good person. Besides, She wanted to know what would Yuu’s sister talk to her. Then, she typed a message to Rino that she would go to the café. Both of them crossed the street and walked along the side way.
“Kojima-san, please stop here for a while” said Mai who stop her step
Haruna frowned at Mai’s weird action
“Why stop here? The café is over there”
“I’m waiting for someone”
Suddenly a car stop beside Haruna and Mai. The car’s door on the side of the sidewalk was opened. Mai grabbed Haruna’s arm and tried to push Haruna into the car..
“Hey! What are you doing?!”
“I’m sorry Haruna but I have to do it”
Mai still struggle to push Haruna
“Someone please help me!!!” Haruna yelled
“Hey you!! What are yo doing to my cousin?! RELEASE HER!!!” Rino who saw the scene run toward Haruna
“Oh, shit!” Mai pushed Haruna harder which made haruna fell into the front sit of the car. Mai the closed the car’s door. Haruna then look at the person beside him who sit on the driver seat..
“YOU?!”
Mai was about to went into the car when she felt her shoulder was grabbed by a hand
“What did you do to my cousin?!”
Surprising tha someone caught her action, without thinking anymore, Mai then pushed Rino into the car and jumped herself in into the car too.
“GO, Yuu!!”
In a flash light, Yuu then step his feet on the car’s pedal..
“Rino!”
“Haruna! you’re alright? Hey, what are you guys doing?”
“I’m sorry. But I won’t do anything harmful. I just want Haruna to do something”
“What do you want from me? I said I won’t be your model ” Haruna said to Yuu which was driving the car
“Eh, both of you know each other? ” Rino surprised
Oshima Mai then told Rino. About Yuu’s offer to Haruna and how Yuu really want Haruna to be her model.
“Hey, Haruna. Why you reject it? It’s a good chance” Said Rino after he heard Mai’s explanation
“What?! You’re on their side?!” Haruna didn’t expect Rino’s word
“I’m sorry, Kojima-san. I really want you to do something for me. But, I know you wouln’t do if I ask you. So, I don’t have choice than do this”
“Where will we go?” Rino asked
“A studio” answered Yuu
Yuu, Mai, Rino, and Haruna were in front of Oshima Company building..
“Whoah, so big..Haruna, you’re so lucky become this company’s model”
“I didn’t take the offer, Rino!”
“Let’s come in..I’ll show you my studio” Yuu invited
“I’ll go home now” Haruna was about to leave but Rino grab her and drug her toward the building entrance
“C’mon, haruna, This thing sounds interesting”
*In Yuu’s studio*
Yuu’s studio was built inside our family company. It was a place where he make clothes. He usually draw the design here and then gave the designs to division who responsible to sew them. The studio also the became Yuu’s storage of the clothes which he has created.
“So, Oshima-san, what- “
“Call me Yuu..”
Okay, Yuu. What do you want from me?” said Haruna who was sitting on the couch
I want you to wear that dress” Yuu pointed his finger at a dress which displayed in a corner of the room. It was a beautiful white gown.
“Heh? You brought me here just to wear that thing?”
“I’m sure you would reject if I ask you in gentle way. You left me with no choice” Yuu lean his back on the wall and fold his arms in front of his chest
“Just try the gown, Haruna. You will looked good on it.”
“You’re not helping at all, Rino!”
‘’Please wear it, Kojima-san. My brother even kidnap you only to have you wear that gown. I’ll help you wear it” Mai try to convinced Haruna
Haruna let out a sigh. She surrender.
“Okay, let’s go to the changing room” Mai grabbed Haruna’s hand
While Mai helped Haruna changed, Yuu and Rino was chatting.
“Ah, so you’re a transferred student in my school? ”
“Yes, I’m in class 2-K. Let me introduce my self. I’m Oshima Yuu. You can call me Yuu.”
“I’m Sasihara Rino. Just call me Rino. I’m Haruna’s cousin.”
The changing room’s door open and reveal Mai and Haruna who now wearing the white gown. Haruna looks stunning. Haruna looked at her reflection on the mirror which pinned on the studio wall. She also thought that the dress was beautiful and she looks good in it
“The gown fit this girl perfectly, Yuu. You’re right, Yuu. I think she’s your Muse” Mai smiled at her brother
“ ‘Muse’? what’s that?” Haruna confused
“Wow..Wow, Haruna. I know you’re beautiful since you were born. But, now you looks..amazing” Rino couldn’t hide his admiration toward his cousin.
And Yuu..He just standing still..He couldn’t find any word to say. It was like the girl in front of her succeed to make his brain stop working. He kept starring at Haruna. Seeing Yuu didn’t give comment, somehow made Haruna worried. She didn’t know why, but deep inside her heart she wanted to hear compliment from Yuu.
“Ahhh, I forgot something. Hey, You! C’mon help me!”
Mai tried to drag Rino out of the room
“Hey! What are you doing?! ”
Oshima Mai whispered to Rino “Let’s leave both of them alone..” and give him a wink
“Ahh, Okay..” said Rino before he and Mai left the room.
“Wh- why you just quiet? Am I looks no good?” Haruna asked. She turn her head down. She was afraid..Afraid that Yuu’s answer would make her disappointed. Yuu walk toward Haruna.
“I’m losing any word..”
Haruna looked at Yuu and tilt her head
“Hhmm?”
“I don’t know what to say. I I’m speechless. I..I..” Yuu still struggled with his words
“One word..Just give me one word..” Haruna really wanted something from Yuu’s mouth
“Perfect..You’re perfect” Yuu said in low voice but it was enough to be heard by Haruna
‘Perfect’. although it was just one world, but it could make Haruna’s heart pounding fast.
“Holy shit! Why in the moment like this!” “You looks like a princess..”
“Why my heart beat become faster?! Oh, god. This guy is dangerous!” “I..I know..Speaking of which, What is ‘muse’ that you sister said earlier?” Haruna tried to changed the conversation
“Every designer needs a ‘muse’. That one perfect woman..”
“So, you have ‘muse’?”
“Yes. She’s standing right in front of me”
Yuu looked straightly into Haruna’s eyes
“Please be my model, Kojima-san. ”
“Why you keep persisted?”
“Why you keep reject it?”
Silent…
“Please..This project is very important. I bet my future in it.Really..Pleaseeeee” Yuu kept begging
Haruna thought for a while.
“Okay. I’ll be your model..”
Yuu’s eyes suddenly became sparkling after hearing Haruna’s answer. He was about to jumped and hugged Haruna..
“Hey, what will you do?”
“Hug..hugging..” said Yuu while extented both of her arms out
“What for?”
“To show my gratitude”
“No need for that!”
“Nee, Kojima-san.”
”What?”
“Can I call you Haru-chan?”
“Only my parents who are allowed to call me that way”
“What about nyan-nyan?”
“NO! I’m not a cat.”
“Nyan-chan?”
“I said I’m not a cat!”
“Kojipa?”
“sounds weird”
“Ojou-chan?”
“what?!”
“Yes..I’ll call you Ojou-chan”
-In Front of Kojima and Sashihara House-
“Thankyou for driving us home..” Rino said
“No need to say thanks. They should drive us home. It’s their plan anyway.”
“Haruna!”
“Haha..We’re so sorry for what happened today.” Yuu said
“Today was fun. Speaking of which, this is my house and that one is Haruna’s” Rino pointed at his house and a house next to it
“You live next to each other?” Yuu asked
Rino wrapped his arm around Haruna’s shoulder and make a peace sign with his other hand “We’re close family after all”
“We have to go now. Once again, sorry for today” Mai bowed
“See you next time, Ojou-chan” Yuu smiled and waved his hand at Haruna
-In Oshima Mai’s car-
“You call her Ojou-chan?”
“Yes. It’s a cute nickname, doesn’t it?”
“Not only have a cute nickname, she also a cute girl, right?”
“Un”
“You’re attracted in her?” Mai asked Yuu an unexpected question
Yuu chuckled
“No”
“Eh, why?”
“One, no love at work. Two, she’s not my type”
“Then who’s your type? Atsuko?”
Suddenly realized her mistake, Mai facepalmed to herself.
“Ahh, sorry, Yuu. I didn’t mean to-”
“It’s okay, Onee-chan.” Yuu tried to make smile on his face. But, he couldn’t lie to himself. There was still a scar in her heart. Yuu took his phone. He open his phone’s photo folder. He click a photo. A photo where 2 students wore junior high school uniform. The male student was wrapped his arm onto the girl’s arm. They both have smile on their face.
