松井咲子のソロアルバムの打ち合わせをした。めちゃくちゃお忙しいだろうとは思ったが、ダメ元で作曲家・編曲家の服部隆之さんにお願いしたら、ご快諾いただいた。

基本は、AKB48のヒット曲のインストゥルメンタルと「ぐぐたす民のテーマ」、「宇津井健の加圧式トレーニングのテーマ」、「ggrksのテーマ」、「胸熱のテーマ」などを予定している。
「ぐぐたす民のテーマ」は、アフリカの民族音楽のようなものを書いて欲しいとお願いしておいた。

CDのジャケットは、AKB美術部が担当する。

発売は夏頃かなあ。

I've had a discussion with songwriter Hattori Takayuki concerning Matsui Sakiko's solo album. I thought he might already be terribly busy but I tried my luck anyway and he was quick to agree.

In general, we are planning to include instrumental versions of various AKB48 hit songs and, among others, "Gugutasu-min no Theme" [Theme of the People of Gugutasu], "Utsui Ken no kaatsu-shiki training no Theme" [The Utsui Ken Kaatsu Training Theme], "ggrks no Theme" ["Google is your friend" Theme], "Muneatsu no Theme" ["My trembling heart" Theme].
I told Hattori-san to write something resembling African tribal music for the "Theme of the People of Gugutasu".

AKB Art Club will be in charge of the jacket design.
Release might be around Summer.

I predict this will be awesome

I'm very pleased to see them utilising her skill. Many idols have little or no musical talent, which is fine of course. But when that rare one who does comes along, it's a shame if that talent is wasted (I've seen it with other groups). Sakiko never seems to get a great deal of exposure within AKB so this will be very nice for her to have a chance to shine on her own

This will be like a compilation AKB's singles and some other songs? Sounds good to me. I really like it when Sakiko plays the piano in concerts and such.

If I understood correctly, AKB is appearing in a commercial for Nissin Cup Noodles and they're using Sakiko's piano solo as the background music.

I never thought that I'd get excited about Sakiko's piano album but damn, 'Everyday, Kachuusha' gave me goose bumps for real. I would love to hear it with vocals. I ain't really feelin' HebiRote tho, that shit sounds weird as hell

I might even buy the album if 'Beginner' is as awesome as 'Everyday, Kachuusha'

01. 心の譜面: Some bits remind me of some Otsuka Ai songs, and then there are some notes which sound horrible out of key to me. Mixed feelings.

05. Everyday、カチューシャ: Awesome. Exactly what you would expect. From elegant and soothing to more epic and happy sounding arrangements. Very nice indeed.

06. 魂の移動～ぐぐたす民のテーマ～: Not really feeling this. It doesn't flow. Then again, this borderline jazzy arrangement isn't really my style anyway.

09. ヘビーローテーション: Now this is awesome. Same type of brass used in NMB48's Virginity, mixed with some super laid back guitar arrangement. Very enjoyable song imo.

I thought this album was going to be boring. I was wrong. However, there may be too much variety

. How can a song like this hebirote be on the same album as a Mozart piece. It's a bit much. On the other hand, it may show of Matsui's versatility which is good.
