Kyoko on the SMAP show last month, she was promoting some show of hers but couldn't quite make out what she saying, needs more English lessons.

On September 21st, actress Fukada Kyoko (28) attended a men-only pre-screening event for her new movie, “Yoake no Machide”.

Fukada held a talk event once the movie ended, and since the film is about an affair, the MC asked the audience if they ever had one. Surprisingly, 2/3 of the audience raised their hands. After taking a deep breath, Fukada said, “Please keep the fact that you raised your hands in this venue a secret for the rest of your life,” giving a sharp statement to the audience.

When asked on what she looks for in a partner, she responded, “Honesty,” clearly. She then stated, “We all have to be careful to not to marry an unfaithful partner.”

夜明けの街で (Yoake no Machi de / City of Dawn) was previewed in Yokohama. It opens on October 8. Directed by Setsuro Wakamatsu, based on a novel by Keigo Higashino. Also starring Goro Kishitani and Tae Kimura. As Yoshino san mentions in his post above, Kyoko Fukuda strongly believes in fidelity, and unlike the character she plays in the film, she is very loyal to her husband and expects the same.

Way to go Kyoko san!!

Promo poster is now out for her new drama starting later this month, Sengyou Shufu Tantei~ Watashi wa Shadow.... like how many Kyokos we'll be seeing in it.

Exciting news for Lolita lovers! On October 23rd, a lolita event titled “The World’s Grandest Party of Lolita ~Sekai de Sai mo Idai na Lolita Party~“, will be held in Shimotsuma City in search of ‘Ryuugasaki Momoko’.

‘Ryuugasaki Momoko’ is a character from the movie, “Shimotsuma Monogatari“, starring actress Fukada Kyoko. Set in Shimotsuma City, the movie portrays the friendship between a Lolita (Fukada) and a delinquent (Tsuchiya Anna).

As a project by “Sanuma Friendly Festival“, the event is Shimotsuma City’s biggest festival, attracting over 40,000 people every year. This event will gather lolitas from all over the world to select the second ‘Ryuugasaki Momoko’, who will be crowned “2011 Princess of Lolita“. The second ‘Ryuugasaki Momoko’ will be chosen by a panel of judges which include charismatic lolita model Aoki Misako, author Takemoto Nobara, and people associated with lolita fashion brand, “BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT“. Additionally, the event will host a fashion show by “BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT”, for their new autumn-fall collection.

The event executive committee is currently promoting the event with a video featuring Aoki Misako. They also plan to encourage a fashion show with all lolita brands in the future.

Kyoko had a movie that came out last weekend, Yoake no Machi de(Love Story), also stars Goro Kishitani, only came in 8th place but there's quite a few big movies out there right now, trailer for it, she looks really really good in it.

That looks like a great cast and action packed film....looking forward to it.....

Now we know Kyoko has a lot of fans, but YouTube poster noodicus1 sounds like someone with a full on case of fandom: to quote:

Lot of big stars had drama which have just started up, Kyoko is no different, her latest one started last Friday, also starring Naohito.... Sengyou Shufu Tantei.
