(Director’s office)“We humbly welcome you to Lotus Girls’ Academy. We hope you enjoy it here. Takahashi Minami-san.” The director said.
“Yes, Ma’am!” She replied.
“What an energetic young lady you are. Do you know what the school Badge’s special meaning? The Lotus signifies grace, beauty and purity of a true woman. We expect you to wear it without reserve and outmost pride.” The director informed Minami.
“Yes, Ma’am!” *salutes* Minami responded.
‘Wait, was I just reprimanded?’“This institution was built over 100 years ago. And we still follow it’s on going traditions. You may find some differences between here and other schools you have been to.” The director added. “Well, first we had arranged for someone to give you a tour of this school. Why don’t you check the school out?”
*Knock* *Knock*
“Ah, sounds like she’s here now. Please come in”
*creak* (door opens)
“Excuse me.” The girl said.
“This is Maeda Atsuko.” The director introduced her.
‘WoW!’ “ Wow! You’re so beautiful.” ’So pretty.’ Clasping both of her own hands in excitement.
“Um...” Atsuko said, quite shocked at Minami’s reaction.
“Maeda-san, This is the transfer student, Takahashi Minami.” The director introduced.
“Please leave the tour to me, Maeda Atsuko desu.” Atsuko said lifting her hands halfway to shake Minami’s.
“I’m Minami, nice to meet you.” Minami said reaching Atsuko’s hand to shake.
*sniff* *sniff*
“Hm?” Minami smelled something.
“Do I smell…Blood?” she said.
Atsuko was quite shocked at what she had said. “…Really? But I don’t smell anything.”
“I don’t either.” Said the director.
‘But I definitely -!’ “But I swear. I can smell it!” she replied.
Minami then holds both of Atsuko’s hand. *clasp*
‘I can smell it from her’ “Are you alright? You don’t know about, do you?” Minami asked Atsuko.
*Blush* “Um…I..…I….don’t believe so…” Atsuko replied.
‘? Eh!?!’ Minami thought wondering why Atsuko blushed.
“I – I think you should go now.” The director interrupted.
They were about to head to the door when suddenly.
“Takahashi-san, just to make sure you know. What does the school badge represent?” The director asked.
“Womanly Grace, Purity and Majestic Beauty!” Minami answered.
The director was shocked at her answer.
“Wow! I actually know them all!” Minami said. “Although, I wonder why she made us leave so quickly.”
“Who knows” Atsuko said.
They began the tour and headed to the different parts of the school. The garden, the auditorium, the gym, the library, which Atsuko commented that Minami doesn't seem to be the bookish type, and the Dormitories. But Minami is so busy staring at Atsuko and doesn’t seem to care about the school or the tour for that matter.
“Next we have the infirmary.” Atsuko showed Minami the way to the infirmary.
*Knock* *Knock*
“Excuse us.” *Creak* door opens
Atsuko entered the room followed by Minami. They saw a man sleeping on his desk.
“Um…Sensei?” Atsuko tried to wake him up.
*Yawn* “What? Is someone sick?” he asked while yawning and rubbing his eyes.
“Oh, I was just giving the transfer student a tour…” she replied.
‘Really?’ “Ah, Hello, I’m the nursing teacher, Riku.” He said. “Nice to meet you.”
“Ah, pleased to meet you.” Minami replied. “Atsuko-san, should we see if you have any injuries?”
Riku was a little bit confused.
“I – I’m fine, really…” Atsuko replied. “We should go now, we still have a lot of place to go.”
“Come by any time.” Riku said.
“Bye.” Minami waved her hands to the nurse.
(At the Cafeteria)“And finally here is the cafeteria.” Atsuko said to Minami.
“Ooh!!!” Minami then dashed to the cafeteria lady. “Something smells good!”
“Whatcha Makin’?” She asked the cafeteria lady.
“Ah, Today we’re serving katsudon for lunch.” The lady replied.
“Hm…I love katsudon.” She replied excitedly.
“Well here, try some.” The cafeteria lady offered Minami a saucer of katsudon.
“Mmmm…It’s Delicious!” Minami exclaimed.
*giggle* *giggle*
“Minami-sama, you really appreciate katsudon, do you?” Atsuko asked rhetorically.
*nom* *nom* continues on chewing.
On to the next…
“And here is our classroom.” Atsuko said. “Though looks like class is over now.”
Minami is still staring at Atsuko.
“Minami-sama?” Atsuko looked a bit confused.
“Atsuko-san, why do you keep calling me ‘Minami-sama’?” Minami asked. “It’s been bugging me.”
“Oh, it’s a school custom.” Atsuko answered. “When we wish to express respect and affection, we append ‘sama’ to the name.”
“Huh?” Minami was a little bewildered.
“Ah, Atsuko-sama!” A crowd then surrounded Atsuko, pushing Minami away.
A lot of “Good Morning!” and “Atsuko-sama” can be heard around the crowd. Minami turned to the crowd and said “What…What is this…?”
“You’re the new transfer student here, are you? I’m Minegishi Minami, school reporter.”
“Ah, Takahashi Minami, pleased to meet you.” ‘we have the same name’
“The pleasures all mine. Since we have the same name you can call me Miichan.” Miichan said.
“Then you can call me Takamina.”
“You must not know about Atsuko-sama then.” Another girl said. “It doesn’t matter if you’re an upper class man or lower, everyone here adores her. There even seems to be a private fan club for her.”
“Shinoda Mariko desu, school’s co-reporter.” She continued. “Nice to meet you.”
“Atsuko-sama!” “Atsuko-sama!”
“Someone who is that graceful and beautiful…She has earned the name ‘White Rose Atsuko-sama’!” She added.
‘Wow! Rose!’ “I…don’t really get it…” Minami said to herself. “But everyone here is so beautiful…they’re all like flowers…FLOWERS…”
“--sama!, Minami-sama!” Atsuko is trying to get Minami’s attention.
“Ah?” Minami’s attention is now on Atsuko.
“School is already over. Let’s head to the dorms.” Atsuko said. “So? What do you think of your first day here?”
“Hmm…umm… Flowers…” She replied.
‘Flowers?’ thought to herself kind of confused.
“This is the school dorm. All the students live here.” Atsuko said while they were walking in the corridor of the dorms.
“This is your room, Minami-sama. There is a booklet detailing all the workings to the room. Also be sure to read the Student Life hand book at least once. And if there is anything you don’t understand, Please, Don’t hesitate to ask me, ok?” Atsuko said. “Now if you’ll excuse me.” She then head outside the room.
(Atsuko’s POV)“Somehow…She doesn’t seem to recognize me as an idol to look up to…”
“If this continues, I wonder if I’ll end up acting like her…”
(Minami’s POV)“Probably it would be best to get familiar with this school before anything else.” ‘Where’s that hand book?’
She has search everywhere even her luggage, but it was never to be found. Then it’s finally night time.
“I can’t believe it…Where did I put my hand book?” ‘Maybe in the classroom when they pushed me’ “I better grab it and return quickly.”
She then dashed outside to her classroom. A few minutes later…
“? Where is the classroom?”
She was no completely, absolutely, 100% lost.
‘The afternoon during the tour, I was only starring at Atsuko-san. I was completely focused on her, I forgot every route she said.
*whisper* *whisper*
‘I can hear voices… Maybe they can tell me where my classroom is…’
*creak* door opens
“Excuse…Me…”
She saw Atsuko. And she’s biting someone on the neck. There’s blood on her lips, and his neck.
*Gasp* She pushed him away.
“What is i-!” Riku was about to say something when Atsuko smacked his mouth to keep him from talking.
“Umm…I…Please; this is all a big misunderstanding!” Atsuko explained. “I was feeling dizzy, and I was attacked by someone, and I collapsed on the ground and…” She continued explaining.
“Blood.” Minami points out the blood in his neck and her lips.
“Whe-When I fell, I managed to cut my lips and-!” Atsuko was now a little woozy from explaining and from the nervousness when Riku cut her off.
“Atsuko, that’s enough, it’s useless.” Riku said in a very serious tone.
“What?” Minami was very confused at the moment.
“Sorry for the scare, new transfer student-chan. As you can see, she is a … VAMPIRE."
(Author’s Note)
Actually, I first made this with the pairing KojiYuu, Yuko as the transferee and Haruna as the vampire, but since the story also perfectly fits the AtsuMina pairing,just like KojiYuu, and due to the replies, that they would like it to be AtsuMina, I revised the story and made Takamina as the transferee and Acchan as the vampire. But I would most definitely put KojiYuu and other pairings into the story.
