So, uh... yeah... chapter 3.... .____. Etto... etto... It's a little suggestive? at the first King's order...
so... umm. skip it if you feel uncomfortable about it? *shrug*
Chapter 3
“We’re going to play the Kings Game!” Yuko stated with a wide grin.
Rena, Mayu, and Yuki gulped, worried of what they are going to be dragged into. Rena had played this game many times in the past with Yuko and a few other friends, and never, has it been any innocent game. Mayu and Yuki have Yuko for a while, so, they’ve grown to known Yuko’s way of playing her games. Mariko and Haruna sat next to each relaxed in their seat, acting as if they were uninterested in Yuko’s silly games. Jurina on the other hand is clueless what Yuko just stated.
“Eeh, King’s Game?” Jurina asked innocently with her head tilted to the side. The pocky game was one thing she had played with a few friends in her Junior High Year, but never King’s Game.
“Yes, my dear Juri-chan. ~ The King’s Game.” Yuko said humming and tossing an arm over Jurina’s shoulder. “One of the best game out there. ~” She gave a small wink at Jurina. “How the game works is that one chopstick, well popsicle stick, will make you a King if you were to get it. And the others have numbers on them. As the King will pick the number or numbers…” She emphasizes the ‘s‘ at the end of numbers. “..and says what that number have to do. However, the person that has the numbers must not reveal themselves until the King gives the orders~!”
Jurina blinked, getting all the information into her head. Then instantly her faced flushed red, “W-w-w-w-what!?” She started stuttering, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to play now. “A-a-a-are you saying. T-that if the King orders s-s-something suggestive….” She started to trail off, she looked away to try to hide her red face.
“King order is law! So you must do them if you have that number. ~ Now Rena, go get the popsicles stick. Chop-chop! While I get the beer. ~” Yuko lifted removed her arm from Jurina as she made her way to the kitchen.
“Eeeeeeh!? You bought beer?” Rena called after Yuko and chased after her.
Oh brother. Mariko said shaking her head before leaning back against the sofa. Haruna leaned forward in her seat, in order to look at Mariko’s face. She noticed that Mariko was in thoughts as she was curious of Mariko’s mind. “What is, Mariko?” Haruna asked as everyone in the room turned to look at Mariko.
She simply sighed and crossed her arms. “There’s likely a chance someone’s going to get hurt.” She answered vaguely, but everyone got the gist of what Mariko was implying.
“It all can’t be that bad… I mean… What can go wrong?” Jurina said, recovering from her previous state, as she then wonders curiously. Everyone one just sighs, shaking their head at Jurina. Kids. Everyone thought at the same time. Jurina merely tilted her head to the side and gave the ‘What?’ expression.

The King’s Game has now commenced. They sat in a circle, with everyone sitting around the table, on the floor, expect for Mariko and Haruna, who were sitting comfortably on the sofa. From clockwise, starting with Mayu, it was Jurina, Mariko, Haruna, Yuko, Rena, and finally Yuki.
Everyone had drawn a Popsicle stick, from the cup, as everyone looked at their own they all thought, Crap. As they didn’t pull the King’s Stick, however, Yuko jumped to her feet and announced, “Yatta~ ! I’m the king!” Double crap. Everyone thought.
“He-he-he. ~” Everyone was in utter silence. There was no single movement of sound expect for the rain that was pouring outside. They all look suspiciously at Yuko, who was looking elsewhere, thinking of her first order. They all became agitated, waiting for Yuko’s first order, as Yuki and Rena picked up their can of beer, that Yuko gave them before they started, popping it open as they took a slow sip trying to calm their nerves down from the suspense. Mariko as well opens her can of beer and took a sip, waiting for the order patiently. Mayu and Jurina just sat there stiffened while fiddled with their clothes. Haruna leaned against Mariko using her as her support as she was slowly falling asleep. Until Yuko finally ordered, “Number 7 has to lick all the frosting off of number 3 lips, nice and slow. ~” Instantly, two people started to cough loudly, with a clank sound of the cans being slammed on the table. Everyone’s eyes direct to the source of coughs. As it was Yuki and Rena were the coughing due to choking on their drink. “Fufufu. ~ Look like we got our first two runners up. ~”
“WHAT!?” Yuki and Rena both panic as their face flushed red.
“The King’s order is law! You must do as I say!” Yuko said in triumph, Yuki and Rena looked at her as if she was wearing a troll face mask.
“Where are we -- ” Rena was about the asking, where they were going to get the frosting from, until, Yuko pulled it out a small bucket of frosting behind her as if this was all planned out. Yuki and Rena literally felt like they were being trolled by Yuko. And her huge, troll face, grin didn’t help either.
Mayu eyed Yuko, furrowing her brows at; she didn’t like the idea of Yuko’s order. Yuko, noticing Mayu’s stare, she moved her eyes to Mayu and gave a small wink as Mayu immediately looked away, puffing out a cheek. Jurina on the other hand had a mixed feelings, she didn’t know whether she should feel jealous that Yuki gets to touch Rena’s lips, or be curious to know who was going to do what.
Yuko tossed the small bucket to Yuki as she caught it. “Now whoever is number 7 is going to apply the frosting to number 3’s -- ”
“We know!” Both of them shouted as Yuko just stuck her tongue out playfully.
They both gave an ‘I’m going to kill you.’ look at Yuko before looking at each other, as they knew who is already who. Yuki held the number seven as Rena held number 3.
Rena noticed Yuki lips the word, sorry, as she opened the container. When the container was opened, Yuki glanced at Yuko giving her a look, wondering why it was new and fresh. Yuko just kept her grin causing Yuki to just give a small shrug, lifting her hand up she dipped an index finger into the bucket, and slide her index around, feeling the cold and smooth texture of the frosting against her index. After collecting a good amount she took her index out and set the bucket aside. She then stood on her knees so she would be taller than Rena, using her free hand she took hold of Rena’s chin and tilted it up.
“This is how the adults play. ~” Yuko whispered to Jurina’s ear while nudging her. Jurina was just in awed, but the back of her head was telling her to stop them. Her body wouldn’t move according to her brain as she just watched. Mayu looked back at them time to time disbelieving that Yuki is going to do it. Mariko simply watched, as Haruna watched them with the expression of ‘Are they really going to do it?’
There was a soft knock on the door, but it seems that no one paid any attention to it.
Yuki started to apply the frost on Rena’s lips as if she was applying lip gloss. Rena felt her cheeks becoming hotter than before as felt the smooth texture of the frosting brushing against her lips, and the cold hands that held her chin up. She wanted to pull back, she wanted this to stop, but her body wouldn’t listen to her. When she saw Yuki face she couldn’t pull away, she realized how pulchritudinous her face is. It as if just Rena being that close to Yuki petrified Rena from moving a single inch. Maybe Rena was just exaggerating but she honestly felt that way.
Yuki moved her hand away after she finished applying the frosting; she then placed her hand on Rena’s shoulder as she carefully tried not to dirty her clothes. She then slowly leaned down to Rena’s face as she closed her eyes, tilting her head a little, and slowly licked the frosting off of Rena’s lips. I’m sorry Rena…
Loud gasps were heard from the audiences, while Rena eyes widened. She felt her heart accelerating from the moisture of Yuki’s tongue against her own lips. Not wanting to see anymore, she shut her eyes close and places her hands on the floor, using them as support in keeping herself and Yuki from falling to the floor. Her mind went spinning from the lack of air. She wanted to gasp for air but if she did who knew what would happen. With the pressure that Yuki applied against Rena’s lips, it felt like she was trying to slip her tongue in and kiss her rather than licking the frosting off. Rena fought against the urge to breathe as she felt her arms growing weak.
Then suddenly the door entrance banged open. Catching Rena off her guard, her arms lost its support, “Nmph!” Rena muffled, falling the floor followed by Yuki, falling right on top of her. “Yo, I knocked but -- …” Takahashi greeted herself in, but cut herself off when she saw Yuki on top of Rena. From her angle she was thinking that both of them were in the middle of making out, and she caught them in the wrong moment, while everyone eyes were directed to Takahashi. Takahashi was dumfounded from such sight as it wasn’t something she expect to see. “I’M SORRY!” Her face turned crimson as she immediately slammed the door closed.
“Minami, what’s wrong?” Atsuko asked looking at Takahashi’s back. Takahashi was silent as Atsuko asked again.
“Nothing we just got the wrong apartment!” Takahashi answered and walked away. Atsuko blinked as her eyes followed Takahashi then briefly to the door, before she followed Takahashi.

Everyone look at each other as they burst into laughter. Yuki got up from Rena, and hastily moved away, grabbed a napkin and cleaned her index finger from the frosting, before ducking her head down to hide her red face. Same with Rena, she got up and looked away with her head down as well. Both their heart race, they felt embarrass being caught by someone else and missed interpret what they were doing. The other continues to laugh. Yuko and Jurina held her stomach, Mayu is trying to hold her laughter back, even though she utterly hated the fact of Yuki kissing Rena, but seeing Takahashi face, she couldn’t help it. Haruna was simply laughing, but not as loudly as Yuko and Jurina. Mariko was shaking her head and chuckling, with a wide smile, feeling sorry for Takahashi.
“I-I-I’m getting some fresh air!” Rena stated getting up in a hastily manner. Yuki didn’t say anything but followed Rena as she too needed fresh air.
“There they go.” Yuko hummed. “Look like two contestants are out of this round. Alright, next order!” Instantly everything grew silent and stared at Yuko. “Number 4! Would you play the role of being the attacker or the receiver?”
“What?” Number 4 answered as it was Jurina. She gave a confuse expression not understand what Yuko was implying. She felt someone nudging her arm, turning to see who nudge her as it was Mayu. She gestured Jurina to give her an ear. So Jurina did and leaned to hear what Mayu had to say. When Mayu whispered what she needed to whisper, Jurina face reddened. “W-w-wha!?” She stuttered unbelieving what she just heard.
“You heard me. So what is it, Juri-chan. ~”
“Umm….” Jurina stiffened in her seat, unsure what to say, her mind just exploded from the thought. Taking up a little courage she muttered, “The attacker… I guess.” Everyone went, “ooh.”

OUTSIDE
Rena stared at the rain as it was heavily pouring. She silent watched the rain, feeling her heart finally calm down and the cold wind brushing against her cheeks help as well. She continued to watch silently until she notices Yuki at the corner of her eyes. Directing her eyes to Yuki, she watch her wondering what Yuki was thinking that made her look so distant.
Yuki continue to think about many things until she felt a pair of eyes on her. She turned her head to the source as she stared into Rena’s eyes. “What is it?” She asked in a flat, almost sweet, tone.
“Huh?” Rena diverted her eyes away from Yuki, “I was just… Wondering what you were thinking.” She paused and glanced back at Yuki, stilling seeing those other pair of eyes staring at her. She stared into those eyes as if Yuki was already able to foretell what Rena was about to say. “Since, you looked very distant.”
Yuki couldn’t help but shrug her shoulders as Rena frowned, thinking that she offended her. “I’m just thinking about a precious friend of mine.” She meekly replied and turned her head away, staring back at the rain.
Rena tilted her head. “A precious friend?” Yuki simply nodded. “Did you meet the person by any chance?” Yuki gave another nod.
“I did… But, rather not speak of it.” Yuki said casually. She turned her head back to face Rena; she notice there was still a little frosting at the corner of Rena’s lips. “Hold still.” She lifted her hand and brushed several strands of Rena’s hair back before she leaned close to her lips.
“Wha -” Rena cut herself off when she felt something wet and warm against the corner of her lips. She pulled back, her face reddens and her heart beating quickly one more, she lifted her hand up and touched the spot where Yuki had just licked. “W-w-what was that for?”
Yuki slightly licked her lips before answering, “The King's order was never completed.”
“Mooou!” Rena huffed; still redden by Yuki’s action. She started to calm down when she heard a soft giggle escaping the raven’s lips. She couldn’t help but giggle too as everything felt nostalgic to her, but she didn’t give too much thought of it and continue to giggle.
“Let’s go back in before we get sick.” Yuki said with a small smile as Rena nodded. Rena walked back into the apartment first leaving Yuki behind. “I told you not to forget…” She muttered, frowning as she felt heartbroken.
About me. Or our memories together. She silently walked back into the apartment.

When Yuki and Rena came back in, the first thing they see was Haruna jugging a can of beer down, while Yuko, Jurina, and even Mayu, saying “Jug jug jug!” After Haruna finished jugging the can of beer and just topple against Mariko.
“Ah! Welcome backs you two!” Jurina said taking notice of Yuki and Rena. They both nodded and sat back where they originally were.
“You’re both just in time to play round two.” Yuko announced, taking all the Popsicle stick back and shuffled them in her hands. They all watch carefully to make sure Yuko wasn’t cheating on them, once Yuko was done everyone took a stick. Haruna number two. Rena number 3 again. Jurina number 4 again. Mariko number 5. Yuki number 6. And Mayu number 7, meaning that the person who was king is once again, Yuko. “He-he-he. ~ Looks like I’m King once more!” Yuko brightly smiles as everyone just shrugs.
“Okay for the first number 4 and 7 go next door, and scream ‘I love you!’ to whoever answer.” Yuko smiled as everyone sighed in relief with Yuko’s innocent order.
“Noooooooo!” Haruna rejected the order as everyone brought their eyes to her, taking notice that she had became drunk after jugging down one can of beer. “No no no!” She slammed the table as everyone jumped. “You… Should make them…. Do something sillier! Like a piggy back ride, and say that!” She giggled as she flung her arms around.
“Oh no…” Mariko shrugged and face palmed herself, really wishing that she didn’t have to go through taking home a drunken Haruna.
“Now now, I have already given my orders. Maybe next time. ~” Yuko reassured Haruna. Haruna crossed her arms and pouted. “So off with you number 4 and 7, chop-chop!”
Mayu and Jurina groaned, they got up from their seat, walk to the door, slipped on their shoes, and walked out to the next door. Everyone went to the door, with the exception of Mariko, and listen closely. There was loud knock, either by Jurina or Mayu, as someone answered the door. “WE LOVE YOU!” The both shouted at the same time. Then instantly there was a loud door slam.
The two came back inside, their face turning crimson from embarrassment, as they also frowned from being rejected.
Haruna laughed along with Yuko. Yuki and Rena felt sorry for the two being rejected by the neighbor and embarrassing themselves in front of them. They both patted their shoulders before moving back to their seats.
“Shut up!” Mayu and Jurina both yelled at Yuko and Haruna, who were still laughing their butts off. The two stomped back to their seats and crossed their arms. Children. Mariko commented to herself. “Just give the next order already!” Jurina scoffed.
Yuko and Haruna still continue to laugh a little before they both finally calm down, but Haruna still had the giggles. “Okay okay, next is… number 2 turn off the lights and kiss a random person in the room!” The next order was given as Haruna jumped to her feet, waving her arms in the air indicating as she was number two.
“Haaaaaaaii. ~” She runs off to the light switch.
“Oh my god, no! WAIT HARUNA!” Yuko got up hastily to stop Haruna. Not the fact that she didn’t want Haruna kissing someone else, maybe a little, but the fact that she was drunk and didn’t have the mind of her own to control herself to do anything extreme.
Everything turned pitched black. Yuko stumbled into the wall as she cried in pain. But everyone looked around not fully adjusted to the darkness.
“NMPH!” There was a suddenly a loud muffle sound along with a loud thumb.
When the lights turned back on everyone became horrified at what they saw.
